A silhouette hovered, backed by the rays of sunlight falling through the window. The person shifted, and a glimpse of red appeared.
"F-fuller?" Amari stirred.
What had happened before? His mind was nothing but a field of blank and every time he tried to recall the reason for this damning headache, it hurt more than usual.
The slight pain stabbed into him even harder than before. Its burning sensation ran across his chest all the way to his shoulders.
"Stay quiet," the silhouette responded. "It's hard enough with you moving so much."
He didn't recognize the voice. But it was a girl?
An object pierced the wide tear. Something flowed into his bloodstream next, spreading through his blood vessels in a warm current.
"What the…"
Amari couldn't tell what the thing was doing. His eyes fluttered, gradually clouded with dark spots.
One second.
Two seconds.
Three seconds.
