Chapter 19 - Chapter Nineteen - Whatever It Takes For Revenge

A shadow looms over a table as the oil lamp's flame flicker in a distance.

The lamp hung high on a log wall watched as the the shadows casted by the lamp's flame closes in on the wooden table that centers the room.

Each advance is followed by the rasping cry's of the old floor board, they creaks under heel, as the figure closes in on the table with each creak.

A hand stretches forward and picks up a wooden picture from that stood by its lonesome atop the table, raising the frame upward facing the figure.

"Whatever it takes." I soulless voice Pierces the stillness as the creaking pauses. A scarred thumb gently caresses the glass atop the face of a woman, a woman who's beauty could be said the be unmatched, she wears a smile as bright and the North Star on a still frigid night. A smile so bright it betrays the mundane of the room to which the photo sits.

The lush green hair of the woman brings the warmth of spring just by seeing it and her turquoise eyes that smiles as bright as her beautiful cherry lips warms the hearts of its admirers.

The figure smiles as he looks at the picture and a drop of water falls from his face and slides along the glass of the frame.

The hand slowly descends with agony as it gently places the frame back to the center of the table.

"The gods will pay for their transgressions, I swear it on my name the one engraved on my heart since birth, I ##### will avenge you and bring down the gods and all they hold dear." Anger tainted by sadness resounds within the room and the voice bounces off the walls of the cabin.

The rugged hands of the figure raises up and its palm covers the face hidden in the dim darkness of the room, the hand slowly raises up into a field of crimson hair that is then brushed back revealing a pair of deep crimson eyes that have lost its light.

Eyes that seems lifeless and empty but still filled with drive, a strong resolve to move on and push forward, a pair of eyes that is filled with so much hate that the light it should have shown is nothing but a deep crimson flame hungrily waiting to consume all that it sees.

"Toc … Toc"

Two knock momentarily disrupts the eerie silence that covered the room and the figure that stood in the silence turned to look at the door in disgust.

His face contorted as he faced the door hoping that whoever stood behind it with just

Shrivel up and die where they stood.

"Who do you need Riyon!" The raspy voice barks at the door with disdain.

"Ohh alone time, Am quite sorry to interrupt sir! Did you come at the right moment!?Mhm"

The figure beyond the door with a chirpy voice that seemed to tease at the red headed figure still standing before the table.

The door immediately disappears along with chunks of the log wall and was replaced by small embers of deep crimson flames and the person who was supposedly behind the door with nothing but a head floating with a brilliant red blame in blame of its body.

The head had silver hair with golden eyes and had a smile on its lips that was as cheerful as it was sly.

" Ou, Did I hit a nerve?!" The laughing voice of the head spoke as the flames flicked in place of its body.

"You didn't have to destroy the cabin along with my body just to vent your frustrations you know!"

The smiling lips spoke and a wormy like appendage began to slither from its severed neck slowly recreating a body below.

"You're filled with so much hatred and anger, I bet that's why your still single even after Vanessa—

"Don't her name worm!" The booming voice of the crimson haired figure interrupting the words of the silver haired new comer.

"One more word and I'll erase you!" The cabin was now shaking as a blood red over drowned the entire forest that surrounded the cabin, scaring all the birds into flight and all legged beasts into fleeing.

The head of the half regenerated body froze as the smile that once plastered its lips faded, a frown appeared on its face as the rest of its body momentarily appeared was haste.

"Huh, sigh… always so damn serious, fine am sorry calm you're aura man you'll kill all the prey or scare them away. I bet half the entire forest is empty by now." The silver haired male raised both his hands in defense showing his tender lady like palms in submission.

"What do you want? It better be worth my time or you're fucking dead!"

"Haaaah… this is why I hate being your secretary man I need a job change. Yeah and as for why am here, Ozrick has left to hunt humans despite being warned not to, I sent Tymur and Syrix after him but I haven't received work yet."

The crimson haired figure face contorted with rage as his Aura erupted once again this time the walls of the cabin began to crack and the trees out said bent under its pressure.

His teeth became enlarged as his mouth morphed into that of a wolf. The grace on the pictures frame blacked and the sound entered the ears of both figures who's attention became directed at the table behind the read head.

His aura dissipated and he grabbed the frame in sorrow.

"Am sorry my love." He muttered before rubbing his thumb over then glass now cracked once again.
