Kalina closed the book with a tired gesture. It had been a while since she had lost count of the volumes she had opened and read, one after another.
Valian had suggested a particular shelf to begin the research. He had inspected several of the books that were in the large pile of discarded titles. Then, after a while, he had left for the armory.
Kal hadn't found anything about dragons. However, she had read lots of information about wyverns and other creatures from the Black Desert.
"It's better to finish for today," she told herself as she closed the book. Then, with a bored expression, she returned to the bookshelf. She climbed the stairs halfway up the steps and prepared to grab the next volume. She planned to take it to her room and read it after dinner.
