I also looked at her, waiting for an answer. Earlier on, she walked in holding on to her dress just like every other women in the kingdom, with Devon behind her, having an expression of displeasure.
She didn't even spare me a glance, before taking her seat to eat as if she was the owner of the mansion. And the fact that Devon seemed to be displeased at her presence made me wonder if she was only forcing herself on him.
She is someone we weren't expecting. Instead, I was expecting Elizabeth to join me.
Her presence here irks me a lot.
"My mother sent me here." Or she sent herself here. I scoffed.
