"The general loves you." Evis said to me, while preparing my robe. I was busy washing my arm in the bathtub, speaking to Evis and Bridget. We were speaking about the king when they brought another topic about Devon.
I scoffed. "You think?"
"Yes. It was the first time we saw something strange in the eyes of the general. It had never happened before, my lady."
"I thought you dare not look into his eyes, just like everyone else out there usually say 'The General is cold-hearted, the General is almost like the devil in human form'."
"We didn't. But for a the first time, we saw a glint of expression in his eyes when he was busy talking to you earlier on."
