"That's why… I can't stop laughing! Ba! Ha, ha, ha! HAAA!"
As the goblin only got louder, Sabina fell back onto her bed. She remained sitting up but her back was more flimsy than newly-sprouted sapling in the wind.
"... What is so funny about my noble ancestor?" The mumbled words eventually fell from her mouth.
"Oh… Nothing special…" Rizz gently groaned to regain control of his vocal cords. "Only that… he's not related to you at all. Ha, ha, ha…"
All at once, Sabina's tsunami of frustration crashed against her consciousness. The goblin's disrespectful laughter suddenly twisted into mocking cries. Each booming guffaw was a needle in her heart.
A few moments passed with Sabina unable to say a word.
Soon, Rizz was back to his usual levels of casual cockiness. And he shared an acknowledging sigh.
