"We're finally here!"
With an eye on his makeshift minimap, Rizz let his feet rest while waiting for the map to update. That helped him deduce the map's accuracy.
*Not bad. It makes sense for the town marker to ignore the surrounding tribes and focus on the town's center.*
Under the light of the night sky, Sabina heaved a pleased sigh, "This is Abydah. Technically, those tribe estates we passed count as part of the town. But I hear that the laws of Abydah are followed mostly in the public areas."
"So we need to be careful when entering a tribe's private estate. That's great to know."
Rizz nodded to his apprentice and let his eyes wander the town's nightscape.
"Wow… This is crappier than I imagined."
"I would hardly consider it a town," Sabina remarked. "There are enough public buildings to consider it a town. But I sensed no unity among the townsfolk when I passed through here. It felt very segregated."
