As Rizz moved at a fast-paced job, he opened his system map to keep track of where he was going. The map was shrunk down and zoomed in. Once Rizz was on one end and the first campsite was on the other, the map was tucked into the top right corner of his view.
According to the map, Rizz should alter his trajectory to go south-southwest. Rizz would travel in that direction until needing to go west. That was the path that Kerl had explained to him, which Rizz had lightly sketched onto his map via markers.
However, with Kerl and the others not present, Rizz could now speak and act toward his true intentions.
"Kerl said that if I made a straight line between the settlements, some of the strongest beasts of the valleys should live on either side. That's how they scope out travelers and decide whether to attack them or not."
Patting the daggers at his sides, a mad grin took over his face.
