Kerl hurriedly took a seat across from the goblin. "Have you lost a ring? Do you need help reclaiming it?"
Rizz emphatically raised both hands in rejection. "Nope! I'm all good! Just got a lot on my mind, and none of it really matters."
*At least none of it matters to you,* Rizz mentally quipped.
The young chief eased off a bit. "Very well. Then I will not worry about… whatever it was. But do you have any questions about getting to Abydah? I thought to ask given how much you've been studying the map."
Nodding, Rizz asked, "Have you been to Abydah?"
"I have. Many times. I know the way quite well," Kerl answered. "While my father was chief, I was usually the man who frequented town the most. Skrod and Straka have both visited Abydah as well."
