I invited the ladies into the office and made them sit with me on the couch. CEO and her younger sister gave their lives to Christ and the Lord instructed me to have a brief discussion with them.
"So what are your names if I may ask?"
"I am Sharon Kolapo and this is my big sister Olamide, but you can call her Cristina. We are both children of the late Chief Kolapo.
I gave my life to Christ during the crisis that hit our family recently. I never believe I would have survived if not for God using my boyfriend. Actually the guy is not my boyfriend, but people keep calling him that and we just roll with It."
"Wow! A crisis hit your family?"
"Yes ma!"
"Do you mind to share with me what happened?"
"Ma, it's a long story!"
"Can you make it brief?"
"The summary of the whole story was, my sister has been having this insanity issues for a long time and hid it from everyone. She hide it perfectly that no one suspected anything. A lot of people on most died because she was discovered in a public place. She left the house in that state room in the street like a mad woman."
"Please I'm not a mad woman! Stop using the word mad woman when describing me!" Cris interupted.
"I never said you were a mad woman. I was only saying that was who you were!"
"Please don't mention the word mad woman. It's irritating me."
"I'm sorry about that!"
"Thank you! Can we get back to our discussion?" She asked in an abrupt manner.
"Alright!" I replied, choosing to ignore her rude behaviour.
"So what happened to your parents?" I decided to be more direct.
"They are late, ma!" Sharon answered.
"Actually they were killed by my wicked Uncle. He was so ambitious and wanted to steal the wealth of my family, but I stopped him. I never knew I had the secret to all his hidden agenda and I'm going to ensure he paid dearly for it."
I felt like slapping her on the cheek. I thought this woman accepted Jesus as her lord and saviour? Where was all this garbage coming from?
"How did you know your uncle killed your parents?"
"Ma! It's a top-level secret. These are secrets that are not to be spilt in public."
"But this is not a public meeting! And I believe your sister has a right to know what's going on."
"Don't bring my sister into this. I am almost 10 years older than her. She's nothing but a kid. She needs to be thinking about her boyfriend and other useless things. She never thinks like an adult. She's always thinking like a child and causing problems for me. I have been the one cleaning up our mess whenever she creates one."
Wow! Is this lady truly born again or am I the only one seeing this?
"Cris I don't think it will be nice for you to paint a bad image of your little sister in the presence of a stranger. At least, courtesy demands you should respect her feelings."
"I would only do that when I see a change in her character. You have no idea how much of a pain this one has been to me. She is arrogant, rude, disrespectful and unapologetic. She's the reason why our entire family is in this mess. She's the reason why everybody discovered my long hidden insanity secret."
"Cris! I have been trying my best to tolerate what you are saying, but if you have nothing to say than degrading statements about your sister, then I wouldn't want you to speak any further. Courtesy demands that you don't assassinate a person's character."
"Woman of God! A child will always remain a child and will keep behaving like one. I have tried my best for this girl but she throws it back in my face!"
"But she's no longer who you knew her to be. She's now a born again child of god and the spirit of God lives in her."
"Spirit of God!" She replied and chuckled.
"He lives in you too!"
"Really?"
"Yes!"
"Okay! Let's see how it goes. Let's see if the leopard can change its black spots."
"Oh my goodness! Why are you speaking like someone who has not received the Spirit of God?"
"I got born again because of the problem I'm facing. I can't just receive miracle from Jesus without giving him my life since he wants it."
Chai! Baba God! What kind of wahala is this? Is this the great apostle they call aunty Rhema? Tell me this is not the aunty Rhema from my dream! Why is she this difficult? Wait Daddy did she truly accept you into her heart?
"OF COURSE SHE DID. WHY ARE YOU DOUBTING HER SALVATION?"
"Daddy this one doesn't look like somebody that was saved. She seriously needs a lot of saving. She doesn't look like somebody who the Holy Spirit lives in."
"HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ROMANS 8 VERSE 1? THERE IS THEREFORE NO CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE THAT ARE IN CHRIST JESUS.
NOW COMPLETE IT!"
"Who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. Hmmmmmmm! Now I get it."
"YOU CAN BE IN CHRIST JESUS AND YET LIVE IN SERIOUS CONDEMNATION. YOU CAN BE BORN AGAIN AND YET LEAVE A CONDEMNED LIFE. BECAUSE YOU ARE WALKING AFTER THE DICTATES OF THE CARNAL MIND. YOU ARE FULFILLING THE DESIRES AND LUST OF THE FLESH. THEREFORE BEING IN CHRIST JESUS IS NOT A CRITERIA FOR ABSOLUTE SALVATION. YOU MUST SUBSCRIBE TO THE LIFESTYLE OF LIVING AND WALKING IN THE SPIRIT.
THE YOUNG LADY IN FRONT OF YOU HAS RECEIVED JESUS. SHE HAS RECEIVED THE SPIRIT INTO HER HEART AND THE SPIRIT IS RIGHT THERE IN HER. BUT SHE IS NOT YIELDING HERSELF TO THE PROMPTINGS OF THE SPIRIT.
THERE'S NOTHING LIKE REALLY GETTING BORN AGAIN AND FAKELY GETTING BORN AGAIN. ARE YOU REALLY BORN AGAIN IS NOT A QUESTION IN CHRIST. ARE YOU WORKING IN THE SPIRIT IS THE QUESTION? THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE WHO ARE IN CHRIST JESUS BUT ARE WALKING IN CONDEMNATION, BECAUSE THEY ARE LIVING TO PLEASE THE FLESH. AND AS LONG AS THEY ARE WALKING IN THE FLESH, THEY ARE IN CHRIST JESUS BUT CONDEMNED."
"So how can I help this lost soul?"
"TEACH HER ABOUT THE PRINCIPLES OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH."
"Okay sir!"
I took a look at her younger sister and met her face bowed. I couldn't see her expression, because her face was completely hidden in that position. You would expect anyone who was spoken about that way to be sad. So I was able to guess how bad she was feeling.
"Cris I believe you understand you are now a child of God. You are no longer that person who insults the younger sister. The Bible made us to understand that if any man be in Christ he is a new creature. Old things are passed away and behold all things are become new.
You need to put off the old patterns of unforgiveness, bitterness, envy, jealousy, fornication. Which is sleeping with a person you are not married to."
"Wait! Let me stop you right there. Are you saying my boyfriend and I can't do the normal anymore?"
"You mean, both of you usually sleep with each other?"
"It's normal! Everybody does it!"
"Now that you are born again, you are no longer everybody. You are now a property of the God of heaven. The God of heaven decides what to do with his vessel. And as far as he's concerned he doesn't stop you from copulating. He only wants you to do it when you are married."
"Why?"
"Because he owns you and that's how he wants it."
"But we love each other and we are planning on getting married soon!"
"There are no excuses with God. As long as you belong to him, you keep his word."
"That's unfair! I don't like when people boss me around or tell me how to live my life."
"You have given your life to Jesus, it no longer belongs to you."
"Still, that doesn't mean I don't have a say over what God wants me to do. I can choose to do it or not. It's still in my power to decide what to do or not. How can God wake up from nowhere and begin to give me rules I don't like?
I can't be with my boyfriend and won't do something together. The guy is so romantic and the best in the world. Funny enough, we have the same name. His name is Chris and mine is also Cris. He's the best husband in the world."
Holy Ghost you have to help me. I seriously feel like slapping this girl.
"I understand the point you're coming from. But you have handed your life to Jesus and accepted him to be your Lord. He is now in charge of your life. So he gets to decide what you do with your boyfriend and what you do with your life in general.
So you have to surrender to God in everything. When he says no more sleeping with your boyfriend till marriage, you have to agree with that."
"But I have a question! What's wrong with sleeping with my boyfriend? Aren't we going to be doing that when we finally get married? So what's the use?"
"You don't question God. He decides and you obey!"
"Because I'm a robot or a slave?"
"Because you love him and want to honour him!"
"Why would I love God? I've not seen him before. If he wants me to love him, then I need to see him first!"
God please help me out. I don't know where to go from here. This lady is proving too difficult.
"Cris I need you to understand God never forced you to accept him. You made the decision all by yourself. And these are the things contained in that decision. The truth about it is that there is no joy or peace of mind outside God. You had your boyfriend, you had your wealth, you had everything life could offer. Yet, you were swimming in Insanity. Not until Jesus came and broke the chains of insanity from your life.
Do you think the demons and powers that made you insane will keep watching you for ever? They want to ensure you are mad forever and they will be looking for the perfect opportunity to tie you down.
The fact that Jesus delivered you, does not change the fact that if you don't hide yourself in Jesus, you will be exposed to the powers of darkness. So one of the reasons why I am recommending you walk with God, is for your own safety."
There was silence for a few seconds before she finally spoke up.
"I understand where you're coming from. I know part of what made everything that happened to me in the past was my careless lifestyle. My biggest pain is, Jesus is stripping off the things I love the most. But if this is what he wants, then I am ready to do it.
I insulted you and yet, he delivered me through you. I don't deserve his mercy and yet he showed me. I can't turn my back on him, that's wickedness. I am ready to walk with him. I am ready to whatever he says."

I believe God spoke to you in this episode. You have received Jesus, but there is a responsibility resting on you. It is your responsibility to deny the flesh and walk in the spirit.
If not, you would accept Jesus and still remain as sinful as you were in the past. If any man be in Christ he is a new creature. That statement is only for those who walk not in the flesh. You can be born again and be an old creature.
Walk in the spirit and ye shall not fulfill the desires of the flesh.
I believe this message is for someone.
