THE JESUS SLAY QUEENS 2
Episode 44

"Juliet, you don kill person ooooo." Susan teased.
"No be my fault, na him do himself. I was on my own, he came to my room and I decided to teach him a lesson. Next time, he won't come near someone's house to kill."
"But the lesson you taught him doesn't have a next time ooo."
"Oh! That's true!" I said with a scornful grin on my face.
"So how does he get to learn?"
"In the grave!" I smiled.
Today was Monday and the news was fast spreading. The principal of Broadway Academy was dead. We were told he died in his sleep. Some said that he was asleep and passed out from his sleep to the great beyond.
A more detailed version of the news said that he woke up and screamed in his sleep, holding his neck. Before anyone could do anything to help, he was gone.
I was getting dressed for school, when I remembered I was supposed to call Mr Adebayo.
I quickly took my phone. I had promised to follow him up everyday and due to the fasting, we haven't spoken.
I picked up my phone and dialed his number.
"Hello sir!"
"Hi Juliet Anderson! Good morning! How was your retreat?"
"It was awesome! I really enjoyed my time in God's presence."
"I'm so happy for you. That's good to hear. You're turning into a great woman of God every single day. No doubt I feel the difference in your voice this morning."
I grinned.
"Sir, I'm just a little girl!"
"With a big God and a heavily anointed lady to be precise."
"Haaaaaaaa!"
"Stop pretending joor! I know what I am saying."
"Well, I'll pretend you never said that. I called to ask if you have been observing your quiet time? Especially for the few days I was unable to reach you."
"Yes I have and I'm enjoying my fellowship with the Lord. My son and I always meet in my room to study the word of God together every morning and pray for Kayla."
"Wow! So you guys have been having family devotion?"
"Yes! Only Kayla has been refusing to join us. But I believe the Lord will arrest her. That girl can be stubborn."
"No sir! Don't say that. She's a great weapon in the hands of the almighty. The enemy seriously went after her destiny. But we won't stop praying for her."
"Yes ma!"
"Ma?"
"Yes ma! You're a woman of God."
"Sir! Please stop calling me ma! I'm still your daughter!"
"I find it difficult to believe that I am talking to a teenager. You sound like a lady in her early thirties, yet you're so small. God is really doing mighty things through you."
"We bless his name for that and to him be all the glory!"
"Amen! By the way Juliet, I figured out you might be needing more money for the work God has placed in your hands."
"Sir! You don't have to. My Dad sends money for my upkeep every month."
"Has he sent you anything for the up coming month?"
"No sir, but please don't border."
"I'm not sending you upkeep money, it's for the work of God to spread. I'm sending you money to make you reach out to more souls without any financial constraints."
"Sir! I don't have any ministry that needs funding. Just keep the money for now."
"Listen to me. Whether you like it or not, very soon, your responsibilities will increase and you'll need this money. So relax and let me send it to you."
"Daddy, do I tell him about the 50 thousand naira Kayla sent to me?" I asked the Holy Spirit.
"NOT NOW, NOT ON A PHONE CONVERSATION!"
"Should I collect the money he wants to send?"
"DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN STOP HIM?"
I chuckled.
"He's too stubborn!"
"Have you seen it? I just sent you 50 thousand."
I felt my phone vibrate on my ear and I checked. There was an alert of 50 thousand staring at me, doubling what I had in my account to one hundred and eight thousand naira. I was dumbfounded.
"Yes sir!"
"Thank you so much!"
"Haaaaaaaa! Sir, I should be the one thanking you. You just sent me money and you're thanking me?"
"Yes Juliet! Thanks for accepting it! And besides, you just came from a powerful retreat program. I want to be the first person to sow into your life and receive the blessing you carried from the meeting."
"God bless you sir! Thank you so much!"
"You're welcome! Bye! We'll talk later!" He replied and hung up.
"Na wa oooo! Wonders shall never end. This Mr Adebayo will not cease to amaze me!"
"What happened?" Susan asked.
"Just this money, he sent me 50 thousand. I didn't tell him about what Kayla did, so that makes what's in my account approximately 108."
"Wow! Julie angel! Should I call my account details for you?"
"Madam, he said the money is for the gospel. It's not for perfume or new dresses. It's for the gospel," I replied.
"I know, but the one Kayla sent is not for the gospel na. Let's have some fun with that one."
"I cannot touch that money na! I'm yet to tell him that Kayla smuggled some money out of his account. How can I be spending something that was stolen?"
"Hmmmmmmm! That's true ooo! By the way, I love this your money integrity. Your Dad really trained you well."
"Don't go there oooo! I had already been going to market like a house wife to shop for the family at age 12. I used to collect extra money for myself. But there's no way my Dad won't know. My Dad is a magician in that area.
If you remove 50 naira from the change, he will know. He will ask for it and deal with you very well for stealing. He will tell me instead of stealing the money, why not ask me to give it to you?
He uses that particular scripture in Proverbs 28:24. He who robs his father or his mother And says, "This is not a sin," Is [not only a thief but also] the companion of a man who destroys.
Until I say take it, the money is not yours. That's his regular statement. Don't assume the money belongs to you because it belongs to your father. You must learn to spend only what you were instructed to ans seek permission before spending the remaining money for yourself.
If at all you're not able to tell me before spending it, ensure you report yourself to me after spending it. Don't spend it secretly and close your mouth.
That was how my Dad raised an accountable daughter in me ooo."
"Wow! Super Dad!" Susan applauded.
"Yes oooo! My Dad is really a hero!"
"Speaking of Dads, madam we'll be running late for school. Bye!" She replied and rushed out of the room.
I threw my phone on the bed and dashed out. Of course, students are not allowed to carry phones to school. I had to run for a few minutes so as to catch up with the assembly, or end up getting punished. Chai! I have always been early to school oooo. Why will today be my first time to arrive late?
"YOU SHOULD HAVE SPOKEN WITH MR ADEBAYO WHEN YOU RETURNED FROM SCHOOL. YOU WON'T HAVE GOTTEN LATE."
"That's true sir! The idea never crossed my mind. Daddy please help me!"
"HELP YOU DO WHAT?"
"Don't allow them to punish your baby girl na!"
"BUT THE BABY GIRL ALLOWED HERSELF TO BE PUNISHED!"
"Haaaaaaaa! Daddy I will cry for you ooo!"
I could hear daddy laughing.
"Daddy please na, you know I have been fasting for the past 3 days. I don't have strength like before. I'm still recovering my strength."
"That's how I entered through the school gate and met the punctuality teacher ordering all the late comers to kneel down.
"Chai! Daddy!"
"JULIET IS THIS MY FAULT? WHY ARE YOU BLAMING ME?"
"I'm sorry sir!"
1 Peter 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
Verse 15. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
Verse 16. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
That was the scripture that landed in my heart.
"Daddy, I'm sorry for arriving late. Now the punctuality teacher will have to punish Jesus for coming late to school!"
"PUNISH WHO?"
"Punish Jesus of course. Have you forgotten you live inside of me?" I asked grinning.
"WOW! SO THEY'RE GOING TO PUNISH ME BECAUSE OF YOU. CAN YOU SEE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO ME?"
"Yes sir! I'm sorry I have put you in a tight corner. But daddy, you can still do something about it ooo. If you rescue me today, I promise you that till I leave this school, I will not allow any teacher to beat my daddy again!"
Daddy was laughing so hard, which made me smile.
"IS THAT A DEAL?"
"Yes! How will I be allowing all these teachers to be punishing my Dad? My sweet Daddy, my super hero! My one and only lover! The guy that bursts my brain every night and day. The guy that spoiled me with spiritual shawarma. The butter on my bread, and the sugar that makes my tea delicious!"
"AWWWWNNN! ALL THIS FOR ME?"
"Yes ooo! I'm just starting!"
"DON'T START ABEG! MY HEAD WILL SOON BURST!" Daddy said and we both burst into laughter.
Those kneeling beside me looked at me like someone who had gone crazy. But I wasn't ready to start explaining myself.
"Woman of God! Why did you come late?" A girl kneeling beside me asked.
"I'm sorry! I don't have any excuses to give. I am seriously guilty."
"And you're laughing, why?"
"Sorry about that! I was just having a conversation with my bestie and it was funny."
The girl gave me a look of, 'Are you for real?'
"Where is Juliet Anderson?" Mr Jonathan asked.
"I'm here sir!" I replied speedily.
"Stand up!" He ordered.
"Sir! She's late!" The punctuality teacher replied Mr Jonathan.
"Yes! But please, we need her on the stage right now. Infact, release all the late comers right now and start punishing the ones that show up after these ones."
"Okay sir," the punctuality teacher replied.
The students squealed in excitement and thanked Mr Jonathan, the punctuality teacher and me, as they joined the assembly.
"Go to the stage right now, we have been looking for you all this while," Mr Jonathan said to me.
"Mama! Let me carry your bag for you!" A female student volunteered as it would be burdensome to preach with my backpack strapped to my back.
"Thank you so much!" I replied and handed her my bag.
"Daddy, thank you so much! I'm owing you a peck!" I said inwardly.
To be Continued.......
Wow! Mr principal don move ooo! God is taking over Broadway Academy.
Julie angel says she's owing our Dad a peck. 🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Who else is owing darling Jesus a peck?😁😁😁😁
Proverbs 28:24. He who robs his father or his mother And says, "This is not a sin," Is [not only a thief but also] the companion of a man who destroys.
I believe God spoke to some of you through that scripture. It doesn't apply to only your parents.
Many wives are also guilty of this scripture too. Employees, salesgirl and pharmacist.
Learn to deal faithfully.
