Chereads / A New Max Thunderman / Chapter 7 - Phoebe Versus Max, AKA, Max Manipulates Phoebe... Or Does He?

Chapter 7 - Phoebe Versus Max, AKA, Max Manipulates Phoebe... Or Does He?

He had been practicing with his powers since the end of the last series of events. He could now lift heavier objects, make his heat breath come out in a straight line, and he could apply his freeze breath to his hand. Not only that, but if he put his hand on a surface or object afterward, whatever he put it on would freeze. That last one was using his telekinesis and freeze breath, combined.

He didn't need to do much to anger Phoebe. All he had to do, was pull one prank, then wait. Eventually she would try and get him back in an extreme way, and it would blow up in her face, because she would go too far without Max to balance her actions off of. Revenge was a fool's game, and Phoebe played that game way too many times in the actual series.

Oh, he never told you what happened the day he promised he was all Tara's, did he? Well, in short, they were at the mall all day, snatching phones and doing other things. Here, have a full look.

~~Sunday, The Day After Cherry's BrainMelt Session~~

Stepping out in front of his house, he spotted Tara's car, a blacked out with tinted windows Dodge Challenger. Getting in, they sped off to the mall... again.

~~Hiddenville Mall~~

Here again, he noticed how she seemed genuinely gleeful at being able to rob people. It seemed to give her a rush.

They managed to get the wallet of a store owner here, and they were sprinting. He spotted a closet, and gauging how far their pursuers were, he grabbed her and pulled her into the closet with him.

Hearing footsteps pass, she lets out an uncharacteristic giggle. "Max, this is the most fun I've had in a long time." She says simply, breathing heavily. He was already catching his breath. After all the time he spent in combat boots in his previous life, running in sneakers felt weird.

He huffs. "Gives quite the rush." Max says simply, flashing a smirk.

She nods and grabs his face before pulling him down, pressing her lips to his as her fingers tangle in his hair. It takes a moment, but he reciprocates, pushing her backwards into a wall as he intensifies it.

Her fingers move into his hair before gripping it, his fingers gripping onto her waist.

Sliding his tongue into her mouth, she let a low moan out.

"'Hey-'"

"'Shut up.'" He uses the ability the ethereal woman gave him, and he completely silenced him. He was curious as to if the more he used it, if it affected anything differently. Did it get shorter the more it was used? Did the time of quiet increase? Or did it stay the same? Questions, questions, questions. Ones he wouldn't focus on right now.

She tugged on his hair slightly, pushing up on her toes. A hand drifted down to the back of his neck, and grasped it.

Then out of nowhere, Tara drifted a hand down to his jeans, and he didn't stop her. What? He was allowed a bit of fun. He did DIE afterall.

He moved a hand down to her short shorts, and heard her breath hitch the second she felt something grip the button on her bottoms. To give her credit, she didn't stop, she actually increased in effort.

Getting it undone and sliding the zipper down, she pulled away from his mouth as she reached in. "You know, I don't do this with just anyone." She breathes out, giving him a lust-filled grin.

He groans in acknowledgement. "I actually haven't done anything like this with anyone, so, I'm honored you chose me." Complete lie, he has done this dozens of times before, but that was previously. Maxie has never done anything like this, and now he shares his history, so technically, neither has he.

Somehow, her already wide grin gets wider. "This is your first experience with a woman then? I'm honored." She gets into his boxers, and grips onto his dick.

That word. Woman. That word has just reminded him of the fact that Tara, is at the very least, two years older than this body is. Could be three. She could have even failed a year, it could be four.

He nods, getting the button undone then snaking his hand into her shorts, finding the waistband of her panties. "Yeah, so if I'm bad, that would explain it." He tells her, dipping his hand into them.

Tara starts pumping his rod, still sporting that grin. "Don't worry, I'm sure you will get better at it. Eventually. I actually like hanging with you, and you're pretty cute, so it's just a bonus. You have plenty of opportunities for practice." She tells him with a wink, then moves to his cheek, giving it a lick.

Max continues sliding his hand down, getting to her center. He places two fingers on it, then starts rubbing at the same pace that she is. He can see her bite her lip and close her eyes, rubbing a bit faster.

He matches her pace, gritting his teeth as his organ is stimulated. Without thinking, he slides a single finger into her while he moves his thumb to her clit.

She lets a moan and leans her head against his chest, speeding her stroking up while rubbing her thumb along the head of it. Her free hand moves back to his hair, and she grips onto it.

He groans as he starts moving the finger in her, rubbing his thumb over her clit at the same pace she is, and he knows she's getting close by how hard and erratic her breathing is.

She goes as fast as she can, so he does the same, moving his fingers along with her while his hand cups her face and slides a thumb in her mouth. She starts sucking on it, pleading with him, eyes boring into his. She looks... touch starved. Sure, her parents were inattentive jerks, but to not even supply their daughter with simple affection?

That's... cruel. Even for him. And part of his job was as his unit's interrogator. The lead interrogator. He came up with something that made even his commanding officer at the time step out of the room.

She was literally begging for him to get her to the end. To let her finish. What happened to the confident woman that kissed him without warning?

He sped up on his own, fingering and rubbing as fast as possible. Her cheeks turned red, and her breathing intensified as her suction pulled his thumb in more, and her lips became tighter around it.

Her hand faltered on his shaft, but he kept going. He would do this for her, because she needed it. She needs it a lot. More than he needs relief himself.

He could always take care of it later.

Then he heard a whine, and he felt a throb down below. Tara was going to be the death of him... eh, not likely, actually.

He was either going to die of old age or doing something risky.

He breathed her scent in, angling his fingers to hitting her g-spot. He consecutively hit it, keeping her against the wall.

Max feels her walls tighten around his fingers, and he keeps his movements up until he feels her gush on his fingers. He slows down to let her ride it out.

Tara breathes heavily as Max removes his thumb, and she lets her head fall forward onto his chest. "Holy... How did... I thought you had never done this before?" She states.

Max shrugs, removing his fingers and bringing them to his mouth before sucking the juice from her off of his fingers. "I haven't. That was my first." Again, another lie.

"Well, then, you have a natural gift." She takes a breath before blowing out. Then, she looks down. "I got carried away. Let me finish that for you." She gives a stroke.

Max, however, shakes his head. "You don't have to."

She grins, kneeling down. "I know. I wanna." She pokes her tongue out and gives it a lick, before taking it in her mouth.

He groans as a hand pressed against the wall, and he fights against the urge to push in. Tara would decide the pace, she needed this more than him.

She starts bobbing at the end, keeping a slow pace as she starts to get a hint as to what she's dealing with. Then she goes down more, only speeding up by a tiny bit.

A hand moves to his thigh and grips onto it, then he feels her go deeper. He groans as she starts bobbing slowly, and he feels close already.

She speeds up, and the hand on the wall balls up into a fist. This felt good. He could feel her suction on him-

-and her throat muscles when she pushed herself all the way down, forcing as much down her throat as possible.

He grits his teeth, trying not to punch the wall and startle her. She goes quickly, bobbing up and down with increased speed, and he can't help but groan in pleasure.

Max can feel her grin against it, and he groans louder as her tongue starts flicking the bottom.

"Tara, I am dangerously close. Pull back." He tells her simply, and in response, she goes faster.

He opens his mouth to warn her again, but she takes all of him in her mouth again as he orgasms. He feels it go into her mouth, then he pulls back.

Looking down, he sees her swallow then flash a grin.

She stands up, and gives his cheek a kiss before pulling back. "We should get going." She buttons her pants back up, and straightens her clothes out as Max just fixes his pants. Then she looks at him with a sultry smirk, "By the way, you taste delicious. Before and after." she winks before exiting the closet.

He rolls his eyes. She was devious. She was... fun. She could be a genuine friend. Maybe with benefits, but still.

He follows, completely knowing that this was going to repeat.

Later that night, he got a full body picture of her right after a shower. Maxie loved it, and he rolled his eyes but still enjoyed it anyways. He was printing it out and saving it to his cloud. He had to keep this.

~~Present~~

That was Sunday. Now, he was currently in school, moving to the picture room. It was only for freshman today, so Tara wasn't able to be here. In response, he was going to record it.

His combat boots echoed against the tile. Yes, he had money to buy them. The first checks hit earlier that week, and he was able to buy some boots, plus supplies, and other things he wanted. In one check, he was set for practically the entire series financially without any changes. He still needed more for stuff that wasn't in the series (teleporters to different locations, plus other experiments).

Stepping into the room, students turned to him. He figured they would. Black combat boots, black jeans, black belt, a sleeveless shirt (they alternated colors a lot), and finally, a black leather jacket along with a black watch, flipped upside down.

Max moved to Phoebe and Cherry, who were squealing.

Maxie groans. "'Ugh, why is she so excited about picture day? And why did you dress up?'" Maxie asks, somewhat obnoxiously.

Max mentally rolls his eyes. "'I'm going to be dressing like this every day. Easy maneuverability, and more places to hide or keep weapons. I can put two knives in or on each boot if I wanted to. This is entirely practical.'" Max explains, stepping to them.

"'Fine.'" Maxie replies, then Cherry looks over, so he talks again, "'She likes you. You should do something with her.'"

Max nods this time. "'I plan to. I have to get some way for Phoebe to leave me alone. If I'm caught doing some negative with her best friend, she will keep her far away. If Cherry is far away, so is Phoebe. Do you see how that works.'"

"'Yeah, I think I do. Why didn't I think of that?'" Maxie questions.

"'Same answer as the last dozen times you have asked that question. I think ahead, you don't.'"

Getting to them, Cherry flashes a smile. "Oh, hi, Max. You're lookin' good today." She bites her lip, and Phoebe gives her a look, one that has Cherry backtracking. They must have bonded Sunday night after the redo girl's night. The plan worked. Cherry remembered they had plans, but not that she had already attempted them. Hank and Barb had zero idea, because he had snuck upstairs and erased Billy's memory of the night so that he wouldn't accidentally blab.

He had to. Max needed to be sure it wouldn't get out, and Nora could keep a secret. Phoebe could only keep a secret if it concerned her own personal or social life. His 'twin' shouldn't be saying anything.

He does know that Maxie did but also didn't like the Billy brain wipe thing. Though he got Maxie to come around to it.

"That's what you're wearing for picture day?" Phoebe questions.

Max nods with his hands in his pockets. "I always wear whatever I want to." Max shrugs at the end, giving her outfit a once over. "You could have definitely chosen a better outfit."

Phoebe furrows her eyebrows. "This is my best dress?"

Max tilts his head sarcastically. "Really?" he questions, and she rolls her eyes with a scoff.

"You can't ever be nice to me, can you, Max?" His 'twin' questions.

"'Nope.'"

"Not at all." Max answers out loud.

Phoebe starts walking to the seat, saying as she goes while a bit heated, "For once I would like a brother that actually supports me." Max pulls out his phone as she sits down, and discreetly starts recording.

Max nodded. "C'mon, Phoebe. Chili out. You have Billy for that."

Phoebe looked confused at his wording, before a lot of chili was suddenly poured over her head, and people's mouths flew open. Then, they started laughing.

"Chili, Max?" She questions, then the photographer takes a picture. Phoebe swipes chili out of her eye before looking at him again. "What? No, no, no! You have to let me take it again. That can't be my school picture."

The photographer sighs, and Max smirks slightly. "Fine." Phoebe sighs. "Smile." Then Phoebe's face drops more somehow.

"Wait, what? Now!?" Phoebe asks, incredulous.

"Hey, Celbow, don't forget to say cheese." Max says, recording and still smirking.

"Cheese..." Phoebe draws out, then cheese covers her body.

Other students start laughing as Phoebe sits there shocked and looking like a chili-cheese burrito. Max ends the video, then turns to leave, knowing that freshman picture day is officially rescheduled. While he walks away, he can feel her eyes on his back.

He sends the video to Tara, knowing that she probably wasn't on school grounds. All he gets is a laughing emoji, and a promise to send something for him later. They haven't done anything since the mall.

He walks out, moving to go hang with Tara at the skatepark, knowing Phoebe has to head back to their sharded house.

~~After the Skatepark~~

Stepping in, he spots Phoebe on the couch.... in a robe? That's a difference from the show. Barb is behind her, brushing her hair, and Hank is eating a snack off to the side.

"Why does Phoebe look like mom on the weekends?" Max questions, raising his eyebrows.

Phoebe turned to glare, and Max gave him a disapproving look. Phoebe answers, "I had to take a shower to get the chili out, but I missed some cheese. Mom is getting it. I couldn't risk ruining more of my clothes, Max." Phoebe enunciates his name, seething in anger. Okay, so if he used chili, there would be a worse reaction. Or maybe it was everything he has done since he moved into Maxie's body.

"You spilled chili and cheese all over your sister on picture day. Why?" Hank questions, crossing his arms.

Max answers immediately, "One, it was very funny. Two, Phoebe and those boxcutters she calls elbows should be expecting this by now, I have been doing back to school pranks for years. Three, making her look like a chili-cheese burrito was too good to pass up. And four, after I bought all of the chili, I had to use it. It was twelve dollars a gallon, and I wasn't going to leave it sitting around." Max shrugs, getting a notification which makes his phone vibrate. "And chill out, I didn't expose my powers to anybody. No big deal."

Barb gives him a look and stands up. When she gets closer, he can instantly smell a new perfume. "You're still in a lot of trouble. After we caught you sneaking back in, we said next time we would ground you. So... you're grounded!" Barb tells him simply.

Max nods. "Okay... for how long? And is that a new perfume?" Max says, trying to deflect.

"'What is with the perfume-'"

"'Shut. Up. Maxie.'"

"'Okay, fine. Sorry...'"

Barb blushes. "Oh, um, yeah. You noticed?" Barb turns to look at Hank and mutters, "At least someone did..." before she turned to him and she instantly tuned back into mom mode. "Oh, don't try to get out of this with flattery. Two weeks, no phone, and you apologize to your sister." Barb tells him, then holds out her hand.

Max reaches behind him and hands her a false phone, one that looks identical to the one he has now, just without anything important on it. He had Tara steal it for him, for this situation specifically. "Now apologize to your sister." Hank says.

Max lets a second of silence sit before he speaks again. "No." Everyone seems to turn irritated.

"Excuse me?" Barb questions, and Max nods.

"You're excused." Then he goes to walk past Barb to his Lair slide. On the way, Hank grabs his arm.

"Apologize. To. Your. Sister." Hank lectures.

Max shakes his head. "No. I have nothing to apologize for." He says simply.

"You poured-" Hank gets cut off by Max.

"I know what I did. I'm not sorry. She needs to be taken down a peg or two, or else she gets all righteous and goody two-shoes. Kind of like you." He mock gasps. "Are you where she gets it from!?" Max whisper-asks, then uses his freeze breath to freeze Hank. Max pulls his arm out of his grip then hits the button to his lair.

"Did you just freeze your father!?" Barb asks incredulously.

Max nods, then gets on the slide. He turns and unfreezes him before getting the slide entrance to close. Once it does, he freezes it before letting himself slide down the slide.

Going to the stairs, he moves up to the door and freezes it, making sure nobody can get in. If they go to the window, he can freeze it from anywhere in the room.

Moving to Colosso's cage, he picks the blanket up. "Have you ate-"

Max gets cut off this time. "Yes, I have eaten today. Such an annoying question. Newsflash, villains don't care about each other!" Colosso lectures.

Max shrugs. "What if I don't want to be a villain?" Max asks, then it sits in the air for a minute. Then they burst out laughing, Colosso's real, and Max's to put on a show.

"'Good joke. Almost had me for a second.'" Maxie mentions, and Max resists an outward nod.

"'Yeah. Thanks.'" He says simply, hiding the fact that he was serious. Dead serious.

He got a picture from Tara that night, showing her in lingerie she had, black in color, of course. Where did she get it? He had no idea. She was rich, it could literally be from anywhere.

She also sent him a video of her stripping out of it, which he thoroughly enjoyed, obviously.

~~Next Day~~

Walking upstairs silently (he was able to walk silently after an adjustment period) he poked his head out, then noticing Phoebe about to drip grease down his slide. "Grease, Phoebe? That's the best you can do?" Max questions, raising his eyebrows as he walks into the kitchen. He uses his heat breath to melt some trash to help Billy and Nora on the way. Maybe if Barb got done with the book before the trash was piled too high, that she wouldn't drop the book and Hank would not be covered in trash. Saves time, health, and it might even quicken the separation between episodes because Hank wouldn't be forced to heal.

She stops and looks back at him, no grease coating his slide. "Well, somebody has to get you back." Phoebe says with a glare, setting the grease container on the bar.

"And you think it will be you? You can't even get yourself to leave the empty thing of peanut butter in the cabinet. And I know you have tried, because I watched you struggle with the choice for twenty minutes before you finally threw it in the trash." He opens the fridge, feeling the chill on his arms. At the house, he didn't wear the jacket.

Phoebe scoffs, "I know it will me. Nobody will. I will come up with the best prank ever! Even if it takes me all night!" Phoebe then turn sand stomps up the stairs to her room, while Billy come sin to slide down the slide. Max just sighs. Some things never change.

"'With that... we should-'" Maxie starts but gets cut off.

"'No, we won't do anything. Neither will I. The goal is to get Phoebe in trouble, not make her getting retaliation seem warranted. If we prank her, if she gets us back, it will seem like it was deserved. However, if we bide our time, and she does it herself after awhile, it will seem like she did it out of nowhere, even if it technically IS warranted. Your, technically our, parents don't think like that. If it is awhile after, they automatically assume she was doing it to be mean. She will try to plead her case, don't get me wrong, and one of them will start folding, but the other will remind them that Phoebe doesn't have a reason and she will get in trouble anyways.'" Max explains.

"'Huh. You really thought this out.'" Maxie responds.

Max nods, turning back around, noticing how he had zoned out while watching Phoebe walk upstairs. "'I know. There's a reason I do the planning, and not you.'" He says again.

"'Fair.'"

~~Monday, A Few Days Later~~

Standing in school, Max was leaning against a locker, talking to Tara. He turned to see Cherry walking their way. Tara rolled her eyes and Max raised an eyebrow.

"Hi, Max! Hi... Tara. Anyways, Max, I wanted to know if you would want to hang out at the park or something?" Cherry asks, and he gives her a look.

"Which one...?" Tara mutters, and he can hear a bit of anger. Was she really mad that Cherry was talking to him? She wasn't jealous... was she?

"Cherry, you're Phoebe's friend. That automatically makes you, well, not my friend." Max tells her simply.

Her face falls a bit. "But-"

Max, to further his plans, holds his hand up to stop her. "Cherry, no. We never will be friends. I don't want to hang out with you, because I don't want to. You are very dumb, you're too nice to hang out with, and you don't even look good enough to tolerate anything else about you. Go. Away." Max insults her, leaning over on the last bit before standing upright.

Cherry tears up. "You are so rude." Cherry responds, then she turns and sprints to the bathroom, pushing herself through the door and letting it close with a loud bang.

Max turns back to Tara, looking at her, while she looks at the door. "T? You, okay?" Max asks.

"'What do you mean is she okay? You just made a girl cry, and you had a blank face the entire time. I think she's realizing what you can do. And so am I. You can be pretty nasty... I like it.'" Maxie said.

"'Glad you think so. Don't expect that to happen much after this.'" Max explained, then looked down at Tara. She was biting her lip, still staring at the door.

Then Tara looks up at him. "Max, you ever going to do that to me?" She questions, and he instantly shakes his head.

"Unless you do something unforgiveable, no. Never." Max responds, and she gives a small smile. She glances around then stands on her toes, planting a chaste kiss onto his lips before lowering herself. He raises his eyebrows and goes to ask what that was, but the bell rings.

"Have a good day, M." Then she turns and actually walks into a classroom. Weird...

Though, he does admit, he does the exact same thing.

~~Tuesday~~

Waking up that morning, he gets ready and moves into the kitchen, using his heat breath to turn more trash into ash. He saw where Barb was bookmarked, and knew he just needed to buy his time until the end of the week. Phoebe is expecting another prank to capitalize on her embarrassment, and his inaction is getting to her. He knows this, because the bags under her eyes a little more pronounced.

He also knows Phoebe is angry. She came back to the house screaming at him due to his insulting of Cherry. They both got a scolding for that one, but it just rolled off of his back. He didn't care what they said. So far, he was a few days into his 'grounding' so he had to avoid using his phone where they could see him. They also gave him his 'phone' back when he left for school, just in case. They also took it the second he walked in the door, because at home, he wasn't allowed to have it, obviously. For some reason, they never unhooked his computers. That was what he would have taken first, not the phone.

Anyways, he was finishing his breakfast when Phoebe and Barb walked into the kitchen. Barb had stopped moving to the stairs to wake him up in the morning, because he had been up before her, every, single, time. Barb sighed as she saw him, leaning back in his chair with his ankles crossed, and his boots resting on the table. They haven't gotten used to him wearing boots and are still wondering how he got them. They don't seem to be buying that someone gave them to him. In his defense, he was up for two days working on something important, and was hearing auditory hallucinations, so when Maxie gave a suggestion, he ran with it.

Phoebe glares as she passes him, giving his head a smack, which he let happen. He had no reason to be able to avoid it, at least until he developed Thundersense. Phoebe says with spite, "Oh, look, the brother that made my best friend cry in the bathroom for a whole class period."

Barb looks over at Max. "Did you really do that to Cherry?" A second. "Nevermind, why?"

Max shrugs, standing up and pushing his chair in. "She asked me to hang out." He says, quickly starting to wash dishes while they are focused on wrapping their heads around his reasoning.

Phoebe holds a hand up, the first to wrap her head around it enough to talk. "She asked you to hang out, so you targeted the three things she's most insecure about and completely dismantled her emotionally? That's your whole reason? You didn't want to hang out with her?" Phoebe finishes her little rant as he gets done and puts his dishes in the dish drainer.

"Yes." Max answered simply, brushing past her to put on his jacket, which he does quickly, before grabbing his backpack. When he tries to walk past Barb, she steps in his way.

"Max, what has gotten into you lately? You sneak out, you actually do dishes, you are crueler to everyone, and you don't seem to be affected by anything happening around you. What's going on? You can tell me." Barb offers, trying to be a good mom.

He simply stares into her eyes. "I don't have anything to tell you. This is who I am now. Deal with it or ignore me. That seems to be what you do unless I'm in trouble somehow." Max then breezes past her, shoulder checking her as he goes.

Stepping out the door, he can hear a sniffle from Barb, and feels a little bad. But somebody had to say it.

"'Thank you for saying what I couldn't.'" Maxie says seriously.

"'You're welcome. It needed to be done anyways.'" Max replies, walking to school.

~~Tuesday Afternoon~~

Walking into the house, he dropped his backpack by the door and checked his phone's messages, seeing a message from 'T', which was clearly Tara. His contacts for everyone were 'Dad' for Hank, with quotation marks around his name. Same for Barb, who was labeled as 'Mom', also including quotation marks. And Phoebe was labeled as 'Spare Parts', thanks to a meme he saw in his previous life. It was funny, so he went with it.

He responds to her message of "*You free to go to see a movie tomorrow? A horror movie, obviously.* with,

"*Yes. Anything to get out of the house."* Then he puts his phone away, putting it on Do Not Disturb before he does. Hank and Barb would be down any minute. He walks into the kitchen, then notices Billy and Nora in a standoff. "What's going on here?" He questions, though he knows the answer. However, he's not supposed to know.

"Mom said whoever knocks the trash over has to clean it. We're deciding who throws their trash away first." Nora glares at Billy.

Max nods before moving past them, using his heat breath to melt the trash on the way. "There you go."

Nora and Billy both grin, then look at his back, before simultaneously shouting, "Thanks, Max!" Then they run off. He opens the fridge as the front door opens and closes again.

He hears a set of feet enter the kitchen, then freeze. Phoebe was nervous today. She freaked out on Cherry earlier, and Cherry ran, frightened. She still looked downcast from his insulting the day prior, but she seemed a bit better. Phoebe, in her exhaustion, had left her locker cracked, and thought Max put something in it. So, she opened it cautiously, then freaked out when Cherry snuck up on her by accident. It got a huff from him and a full laugh from Maxie.

When Maxie wasn't talking during something important, or something Max liked, he was actually decent. Still planned to read that book though. Eventually. But he prioritized the powers first, because he only had so much time before his powers were needed. Maxie was something that wasn't going away for as long as they lived.

He turns around after grabbing a cold soda he out there this morning. Closing the fridge, he looked at her. "Rough day?" He questions, and she glares. Huh. She was still angry? That's... new. It was probably because he hurt Cherry, and not Phoebe.

"Cherry is still hurt by your mean mouth." Phoebe said, walking around him to the fridge. He simply moved to the counter and sat on it, placing his elbow on his left knee, which had him leaning towards Phoebe.

He nods, blowing out. "Yup." He pops the 'p'. "That's what happens when you can't take an insult."

He has never seen anyone turn around faster than Phoebe did just now. His leaning put her closer, so their noses were almost touching. "Can't take an insult? Are you kidding me!?"

Before he can respond she storms out of the kitchen, furious, and leaves the fridge door open. He simply uses his telekinesis to close it.

~~Wednesday~~

He was still waiting on Phoebe's big prank. The fact that Phoebe hadn't come up with the Dark Mayhem prank was worrying. They completely skipped a few scenes, and he had a mixture of emotions.

Tara couldn't come to school/talk to him in person for the rest of the week; her parents were taking her and her brother out of town for something. Tara was actually missing school, which threw him for a loop. She seemed the type to despise school. When he asked, she said it wasn't learning that made her want to show up. She also sent a winky face.

And an upskirt picture from a bathroom somewhere, but he wouldn't focus on that much.

Phoebe looked even worse for wear. The bags under her eyes were more prominent, and her clothes were wrinkly. Max had learned that Phoebe irons her clothes the night before, so them being wrinkly was concerning.

So, he got her a gift. Max had bought Phoebe a set of different colored bracelets, with accompanying necklaces, along with a World's Okay-est Sister shirt. He put it in a box labeled 'To Phoebe, From Max' and left it on the coffee table. He had also written a note. The note said "**Phoebe, you have looked horrible these past two days and I wish to make your day a little bit better. Sorry for any issues I may have caused. From, your evil twin, Max.**" And he slid down his slide after turning his 'phone' in.

Awhile later, he walked upstairs for a snack when he saw Phoebe staring at the box. Then she started hitting it with her notebook. He waits until she's done before he clears his throat and walks forward.

"Phoebe, it's just a present. Look." He pulls the lid off and sets it to the side, revealing the sets. He watches as she looks at them with amazing before setting it to the side, then grabbing the shirt and looking at it. He actually got a small laugh.

He walked to the kitchen and grabbed his snack before walking downstairs, noticing Phoebe read the note.

Max felt his 'twin sisters' eyes on his back as he leaves, never noticing the tears in her eyes as she looked at him.

~~Thursday~~

Max noticed how much better Phoebe appeared today. She was lighter when she moved, looking like she was walking on clouds. Her brown hair was back to its natural state, and he breathed a sigh of relief. He thought she was broken.

"'She looks better today.'" Maxie stated, and Max resisted the nod he wanted to give.

"'She does.'" Then he looked closer at the shirt she was wearing under her unzipped jacket. Was that the shirt he gave her yesterday?

He looked her up and down, looking for any other changes. Then Max saw it. Was she wearing one of the bracelet-necklace sets he gave her yesterday?

Phoebe approached him with a smile, and he raised his eyebrows. "What has you in such a good mood?" Max questioned, though he can guess what.

"You, obviously." She pulls him into a hug that he doesn't return. It lasts a second longer than normal, and she pulled away, still smiling. "Thank you, Max. It meant a lot." She then turns and walks off, probably to go find Cherry.

...she wasn't going to get in trouble by pulling a prank. That was his fault. She should have tried to pull the Dark Mayhem stunt, but he just had to give her something to maoe her feel better, didn't he?

Oh, well. The only person that can ruin his plans are himself. And that's what he did, even if unintentionally.

~~Thursday Afternoon~~

He was currently tilting the chair he was in at the kitchen table back, looking at Billy and Nora try not to knock the trash over. It was slightly overflowing, so it shouldn't be a problem. He didn't melt the trash down yesterday so this interaction could happen.

Barb and Hank walked in and looked at them. "You kids are doing better than expected. Where has all of your trash been going?" Hank asked.

Max answers from his seat, "Billy has been superspeeding anything bigger than his finger to the dump, and Nora is smart in where she puts her trash. She's playing trash Tetris."

Hank and Barb nod at his words. He had been spending more time not hidden away since they moved here.

Little did they know, that was only because he had nothing else to do. All of his important projects were done, and anything else he started was just to kill time.

"Huh. I thought the seagulls would have shown up by now." Hank said and Barb swiveled towards him.

"Stop exaggerating, Hank." She turned to Max. "Almost a week of grounding. How has it been faring you?" She asked, and he shrugged.

"Doesn't affect me much. I never used it much, anyways. You did me a favor. Thanks, mom." Max answered, and Barb looked down at her feet before looking back up.

"That's certainly not the answer I was expecting." She admits.

Max stands up and walks to her, saying, "What can I say? My mom raised me to be independent." He leans down and kisses her cheek before walking away, sliding down his slide.

"'What was that!?'" Maxie asks, and quite loudly.

"'Complimenting her parenting skills lowers the likelihood of her buying another self-help book.'" Max answers blankly.

"'I meant the kiss on the cheek.'" Maxie tells him.

"'It throws her off of her game, plus she's more likely to give me my 'phone' back and unground us if we behave like a good kid. At least for now.'" Max explains.

"'Ah, gotcha. Carry on.'"

"'I planned on it.'"

~~Later That Night~~

Max is clicking on his keyboard, attempting to get entry into the dark web. The contacts there could be useful. When he hears feet coming downstairs, he hits a shortcut that automatically puts his computer in rest mode. Max swivels in his chair, seeing Phoebe step downstairs.

He raises an eyebrow at her. "What do you want, bonesaw?" He asks, then winces internally. Dang it, Maxie.

Phoebe, though, doesn't lose her smile. "Well, you got me a present, so I wanted to get you one." She holds out a box. It was crudely wrapped with pink wrapping paper, and it was covered in glitter. He grabs it, but before he can open it, a kiss is planted on his cheek and Phoebe is shooting upstairs quickly. He watches her do it, huffing as she does.

He opens it, seeing a letter on top. He grabs the letter and sets it on the desk before pulling the gift out, then looking it over.

It was a necklace, but the part that would normally be string or smooth metal, it was a chain, with the capability of separating so that it could go on his beltloops. There were the words 'Thunder Twins' attached, with a lightning bolt placed in the middle of the words. He smiled slightly, not that he would admit it.

He put it around his neck, then pulled his shirt away from him so he could drop it down. The cold chain hit his chest, and he prevented a shiver. Swiveling around, he put the box on his desk while throwing the box away. He opened the letter. In the top left corner of the page, there was an outline of what seemed to be lip gloss, in the shape of a pair of lips. She really kissed the paper?

The letter read; "**Max, I can't begin to describe how much your gift meant to me. I was thinking you were angry, and that you were lining up the most embarrassing prank I would ever be the victim of. Then you gave me a gift to help cheer me up. I'm sorry for behaving like a jerk these past few days, and I hope you can forgive me, because I forgive you. For the picture day prank, and for making Cherry cry. I can only assume you were frustrated because of something, and I would ask if you wanted to talk about it, but I know you won't. Anyways, thanks for the gift! And I hope you like your own, I had it custom made for you, and I have a matching one. I know you won't wear yours, but I'm going to wear mine. Supervillain or not, you're my twin brother, and on most days, I'm proud to be your sister. Love, your twin sister, Phoebe.**"

He reread the letter more than four times, and he found the contents to be... warming.

"'I- I don't know what to say to this. She hasn't done anything like this for me before.'" Maxie says, and Max growls.

"'That's because you treat her like garbage. Now, shut the hell up, you're ruining this for me. I actually like this.'" He used the ability to silence Maxie completely, just so he could savor this moment.

He opened a drawer locked via fingerprint scanner, then opened it. Inside, it was empty. This was for important things he needed, like plans or devices, or other things. He folded the letter back up, then placed it in the drawer before shutting it. He put the box on the edge of his desk, next to his bed and under the Dark Mayhem poster.

He really needed to take that down.

He breathed out as he looked back down at the box, smiling the whole time.

~~Friday~~

Walking into the kitchen he dropped his backpack on the floor next to his usual chair. He went to the fridge and grabbed the milk, setting it on the counter. Then he grabbed a bowl and some cereal.

Sitting down in his spot, he started eating, lost in his thoughts.

Then everyone started filtering in. When Phoebe walked in, she flashed him a smile before making her own breakfast and sitting down in the chair next to his.

They all ate in relative silence for the most part. Then Barb spoke up, "Kids, I have decided to stop buying self-help books. I don't need some know-it-all telling me how to raise my kids. I am perfectly capable of doing it on my own." Nora, Billy and Phoebe cheered, while Max hid a smirk. he got to her. "And Max, here's your phone. You went a week without breaking your grounding, which is a record. You're ungrounded." She tosses him his 'phone', and he uses his telekinesis to bring it to his hand.

When he checks his watches time, he stands up and washes his dishes in the sink before putting them in the dish drainer. He couldn't just avoid it. His need to have what he can control clean overpowered him.

Moving to the table, he shrugged on his jacket before leaning over, the necklace dropping out of the top of his shirt. He glanced at Phoebe, just to see her looking at the necklace with a smile that she was choosing to hide from 'their' parents. When she made eye contact, he flashes a smirk and winked, then stood up, throwing a strap around his shoulder. He then tucked the necklace back into his shirt, turning and moving out of the front door.

~~Friday Night~~

After a relatively easy day, he laid down in his bed, wearing sweatpants and a tank top, like normal.

Then his actual phone started ringing. He grasped it, then answered without looking at the caller ID. The only person who would call him this late would have been Tara, because his only other contacts were his 'family'.

"Yes, T?" Max asked, blinking sleep out of his eyes. Colosso didn't make a noise. Why not, you may ask?

Because Max soundproofed it for Colosso, because the rabbit didn't want to hear everything Max did, late at night especially.

"I got a hotel room to myself, decided to check in. What have you been up to?" The blonde asks.

He shrugs. "Nothing much. Got ungrounded, actually." Plus gave his 'sister' a gift, which she returned with a gift of her own, along with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

Tara nods, then grins at him. "So, remember when I told you maybe you would get to see what I do before bed every night?" She asked, and Max nodded slowly.

"Yeah... why?" He asked. Then he realized she was only showing her face, and her face was close-up to the camera.

Her grin gets wider, then she pulls her phone back, showing her naked form on the bed, legs spread out. "This is why." She sits up and leans over as she sets the phone on the bed, her breasts jiggling with each movement. When she got settled, she positioned the phone in front of her, with her body on display. She showed both hands. "Do me a favor, M, and flip the camera around. Pull it out."

Before Maxie can say a single word, Max uses the ability to shut him up. Max sets his phone off to the side, before pushing his sweatpants down. Once he does, he grabs his phone and flips the camera, showing his hard shaft.

He saw her lick her lips. "I'm getting another taste when I get back." She says, then lets a hand drift down to her clit, then start rubbing slowly. She lets a moan out, staring at his rod as he matches her pace.

When she speeds up her rubbing, so does he, and he can see her bite her lip. She moves her free hand up to squeeze her breast, moaning at the sensation.

He strokes faster, seeing her go as fast as she can. After a bit she pushes her fingers in and orgasms, shaking slightly as her head gets thrown back into the wall. That was quick.

"I have never came that fast before... you are truly magical." Tara tells him, grinning while panting. She looks at his member, leaning forward, the movement causing the phone to fall. She laughs as she picks it up. "Oops." She's referring to the phone. "You didn't finish?" She asks.

Max shakes his head. "I wasn't the priority." He states simply, and she gives an actual smile, before it turns into a sultry smirk.

"Close your eyes, and stroke at your pace." Tara instructs.

"Why am I doing that?" He questions.

"I'm going to dirty talk you to an orgasm. If you talk back, that's phone sex. I've never done it before. Now, close your eyes. Don't worry, I'll be fingering myself too. I get a second, and you get to hear me talk dirty. Which I know you want to hear."

He closes his eyes and starts, waiting for her to speak. "Eyes are closed."

He hears her moan slightly. "Imagine me there, licking up and down your big, hard, cock. My wet and warm tongue sliding up and down, looking into your eyes while I do it." She moans, and he speeds up.

"Turning you around to lick up and down your wet and inviting pussy, while you keep going. Pushing my tongue in and out quickly." He goes faster at his own words.

She moans loudly, and he throbs a bit. "Mm. Then after I cum, on your tongue, you can slide it into me. Pound me as hard as you can, filling me up completely with your size." He can hear how heavy she's breathing.

He nods, going as fast as he can. "Get you to the end, rub your clit, hit the spot inside of you-"

Tara cuts him off with, "And fill me up with your cum!" She moans, and he hears her sheets move, like she was having a spasm. He releases his orgasm, and it lands on his shirt. Dang it.

"Holy... Tara..." He breathes out. The inexperience with Max's body was getting to him.

"Yeah. I'm glad that happened." Tara says, then Max flips the camera back, removing his shirt after he does. Tara then mentions, "You know, I'm on the pill. When we do it, you don't have to pull out." His eyes widen. "Yeah, I know. I can't wait either. Goodnight, M."

"Night, T." Then she hung up. "I am really liking the afterlife so far." He huffs at his own joke.

{End Note: I'll try to get at least one sex or sex related scene in every chapter from here on out. Sometimes it will be two, maybe sometimes it will be more. I hope this was satisfactory. Now...
