Most of the settings in The Other Shore were copied from Shushan Swordsman, but such a vast world inevitably incorporated many original elements, including many things that did not exist in the original world, drawing on various ancient Chinese myths, legends, and anecdotes, such as the Four Great Famous Swords.
The Four Great Famous Swords were cast by Ou Ye Zi during the Spring and Autumn Period. They were Gan Jiang, Mo Ye, Bi Yu, and Ju Que, and they also appeared in The Other Shore.
