Since they had originally come to participate in the ceremony, and furthermore, since Fate-san had escaped during their meeting with Chris-san, Fate-san and Chronois-san left after purchasing drinks made from the Fruit of the World Tree.
Because Lillywood-san told me not to circulate the original Fruit of the World Tree, what I gave them were drinks made from the Fruits of Nebula's World Tree.
Well, in the first place, I just happened to sell those to them, and since it was originally not for sale, it will not be distributed anymore.
[...My sworn friend is amazing! When two Supreme Gods suddenly appear, even I can't act——— Hrnn!? Well, as expected of my sworn friend.]
[W- Well, some troubles occurred, but we had at least sold one product, so things are going well.]
Our first customer wasn't someone related to me, but someone who was genuinely interested in our stall, so I think that was great.
As for Fate-san and Chronois-san's sudden invasion, thanks to Fate-san's Fate Manipulation, there was thankfully no commotion that occurred.
While I was thinking about this, some people suddenly came out from other stalls nearby. They were petite in stature, but had solid muscular bodies. Their short, macho appearance kinda makes me think of Dwarves.
[Errr, Amel-san. I hadn't seen many Dwarves before, but the people over there are Dwarves, right?]
[Yeah, just as my sworn friend said, they are the people of the forge. They're probably about to drink Fire Wine to celebrate the start of the festival. I'll warn my sworn friend now, but the people of the forge will go to the surrounding stalls to distribute Fire Wine, but I advise you to refuse.]
[...Is it a dreadful drink?]
[One sip and your face will turn as red as flames, hence its name Fire Wine... It's safe to avoid unless you are a very strong drinker. If you drink the wine they offer, you certainly will gain admiration from the Dwarves, but there is a difference between courage and bravery.]
[I see... By the way, what about you, Amel-san?]
[Regardless of how strong of a drinker I am, I don't intend to drink today. Drinking alcohol intoxicates my wings, pulling me down from the blue skies and imprisoning me to the earth. A terrifying item they had.]
I understand the gist of what she was saying. We have arrived early, but the Dwarves... they may have a connection with an association or a gathering of nearby Dwarves, involved in setting up a stall. Those people are now gathering to celebrate the Founding Festival, toasting with Dwarven alcohol and sharing it with the surrounding stalls.
If you drink it, the Dwarves will look at you favorably, but it seems to be quite strong. And Amel-san isn't going to drink today because she apparently can't fly well when drunk.
As I was convinced about that, just as Amel-san said, the Dwarves went around the nearby stalls in order and eventually came to our stall.
[Yo, buddy, it's a nice day for a festival, isn't it!? How about some provisions from us Dwarves?]
[Ahh, yes. I'll gratefully take it then.]
[M- My sworn friend!?]
[It's alright. I may not look like it, but I'm actually a strong drinker...]
Rather than a strong drinker, thanks to Shiro-san's Blessing, I can only get tipsy, and when I think "I don't want to get drunk" or "I want to sober up", the alcohol in my body instantly disappears. It's just my guess, but it's probably the effect of the Blessing of a God of Alcohol, God of Health or someone like them, but in any case, drinking wouldn't be a problem at all.
And so, I received the large tankard offered to me and thinking that I don't want to get drunk, I drank the alcohol in it in one gulp... Hmmm. This alcohol certainly is strong, but I think that the alcohol I drank with Megiddo-san was more intense. Come to think of it, I remember her saying something about how even Dwarves would get drunk off of that drink.
[Thank you very much. It tasted great.]
[B- B- Bro... Drinking that and not even turning pale, aren't you quite the drinker? Hahaha, I like you! Oi, give our buddies here some freshly grilled skewers from our stall!]
[Is that alright?]
[Ou! In honor of your good drinking habits, it's on the house. I guarantee their taste.]
[Thank you very much.]
Just as Amel-san said, after drinking their alcohol, the Dwarf told me that he liked me, spoke to the clerk at his stall and gave us skewers as a present, before leaving with a hearty laugh. How should I say this... He's as dynamic as Megiddo-san, but it feels pleasant... indeed just like a Dwarf.
[M- My sworn friend! That was amazing, drinking Fire Wine and remaining completely composed. My sworn friend is strong even when it comes to alcohol huh. That's kinda cool———– Hrnn!? The fact that you don't succumb to alcohol earns you my respect.]
[Ahaha, thanks. That's thanks to Shiro-san's Blessing though.]
To Amel-san, who praised me with sparkling eyes, considering that this was ultimately thanks to Shiro-san's Blessing, I could only respond with an indescribable wry smile.
