[Third Person POV]
"Yeah! The blue prints are ready. I will send it to you after 5 minutes."
Ryujin was talking to Halberd, his mercenary memeber in the Atropis.
" You work really fast you know. How many did you atucally make?"
Halberd asked Ryujin. Both of them were responsible for the production of items in the Atropis.
"Maybe around fifty. Just choose what you think will work the best."
Currently, they were working on some designs for war and security robots.There was a high demand of them since the recent villians attack. They were not making one but only providing new parts to the already existing robots.
"That is quite a lot. We might make around 22 billion$ from this project but I have to say communicating and working while looking at a screen does feel off."
Halberd said as he was checking striking a sword with his hammer.
"Yeah but what can we do. I cannot move recklessly now. I might come there after a week."
"That sounds good and make sure to go to the award ceremony. Don't skip it."
Halberd wanted Ryujin to get what he deserved. After all he considered Ryujin his close friend and every friend wants the best for their mates.
"I will go. I don't have a choice this time. Only if villians didn't exist. Then I would not have to fight anyone and receive unnecessary attention"
Ryujin said in a bored tone.
"Talking about villians, I noticed some suspicious figures around the headquarters. I couldn't catch them nor could the cctc capture any footage. They must be here for one of us, so be careful."
Halberd cut of the call. There were a lot of
time when the Atropis memeber would get attacked but nobody dared come near their headquarters.
"They must have been there to check on me."
Out of all the memebers of the Atropis only Ryujin hid his face and never came out in public except a few times. The Villians might have though that he was in the headquarter.
[ I have also noticed a lot of villians around that same vincinity.]
"System show me the footage."
The system showed Ryujin some
footages. There were glimpses of people weraing dark robes walking and then suddenly disapperaing. Just why can't villians wear causual clothes for diguise. Anybody will be suspicious when they see someone wearing a dark colored robe and hiding their face.
[It also looks like they are meeting at some
place.]
"Is it the same half-constructed building near the illusion forest?"
[No.The building is already constructed. I didn't notice any movement but these peopple are gathering somewhere in this city. I have calculated some of their movement and think they have a lair in the northern side of the city.]
"Hmm, the northern side is where the Pegasus guild is"
There was only one guild located in the Astrik city and it was the Pegasus guild. There was also the Atropis but they were on the southern side and weren't a guild.
"Those bastards must have some sort of connection in providing the villians with a lair."
It was quite hard for villians to have a base at the Astrik city. Even last time they had to meet up in an half constructed building and had to use various relics to hide themselves and those relics would hide them for only few minutes at maximum.
Relics are hard to find and only one person in the world could make them.
The villians lost most of their relic when Ryujin caught them as they had kidnapped Ciel and Lucius and it was highly unusual for them to use another relic after their previous failure.Even if they used it the system would detect any sort of severe mana fluctuation and inform Ryujin. So that meant that someone inside the city was helping them and it had to be someone with strong influence and lot of power.
"I want to sneak and find their lair but I don't think my disguise spell is powerful enough to get past their sensor barrier and security"
He could try and buy an item but it will be quite suspicious for an student to buy an high level sneak item. He also couldn't make one by himself as he didn't have the material with him now and neither did he make any items in the headquarters.
[ I think you forgot about the skinwalker ring.]
"Oh! Right I do have that but I don't want to use it."
[Why]
" Cause its digusting to wear another's dead skin on top of me and the skin might have rotted by now.]
[It is still in perfect condition but why did you make me absorb the skinwalker ring if you aren't going to use it?]
"So others couldn't use it."
Ryujin was skeptical to use that ring. He even didn't know if the ring worked or not.
[If you don't use the ring then how will you know if it works or not?]
"You have been talking to me a lot frankly nowadays."
But he didn't deny what the system said as what it was saying was true.
"Do you still have the skin of the villian I killed?"
[Yes. I even packed his clothes]
"*Sigh* Fine. Lets use that ring."
Since the skinwalker ring was absorbed into the system ring, the rings coloured changed a bit. It was black in color with silver lining but now it changed into a red colored ring with a a logo of an eye in the midddle.
[The skin will now be attached to your body]
A skin then came out of the ring and slowly wrapped itself around Ryujin. At first the skin on the legs got attached and slowly moved up his body. He was wearing socks and long trousers so he didn't feel much but now the skin was going to get attached to his arms which were not covered to even a bit of clothing.
Since the skin was being attached to his clothes he was fine but now the skin was going to be attached to his own skin.
'A shit. I just know this is not gonna feel nice.'
Ryujin closed his eyes just cause he felt like
puking.
[Process is completed]
'Huh! I don't feel sick at all.'
It was because the skin wasn't directly attached to his own skin. There was a layer of mana that seperated these two. Ryujin could even wear the skin naked but he will find it weird to wear it that way.
He also didn't feel any weight added to his body. He looked at his hand and saw the ring had changed back its colour. The ring floated out of his hand before the skin was attached and then returned back.
Ryujin looked at the mirror and made a weird face. It was quite nerve wracking to see oneself in others form. The villian had black hair and purple eyes and some freckles.
"Wait how did you manage to get the hair and chnage the color of my eye ?"
[I just stored the hair and the your eye color automatically changed once you wore the skin.]
"This ring was quite the catch and you are quite an useful companion. I am glad I have you."
[You are forgetting you have a girlfriend]
" I should stop complementing you from now on. Now what should I do about my clothes?"
The system then chucked out the same villians's clothes from the ring.
Ryujin wore the clothes. Everything he wore was black in color except the robe it had some gold colored lining at its end.
[Aren't you going to compliment for me for storing the clothes?]
" What is up with you and your mood swings but still thank you for all of this"
The ring glowed a bit when Ryujin said that.
[Oh. I even stored this villians stats for you to use.]
"Damn! You are the best."
The ring glowed even more now Ryujin said that. Even the system who is a program felt happy when Ryujin appreciated and valued its work.

[It must be something passed onto him. Abilities can only be obtained from books or from birth but many don't know that some ability can be transferfed as well but that is just his stats. You cannot use his
powers.]
It was fine that he couldn't use the villian's power but imagine if he could do that. This would make the ring an SS-rank item.
Ryujin sneakliy got out of the window avoiding every camera and defense items around the academy and the city.
" Now it is time for the villians to find the imposter among them."
