Those few moments he spent with her were the best of his life. Ray could feel his own heart banging against his ribcage. It took a lot for him to remain calm.
As soon as he stepped out of the door and was sure he was away from her gaze, he let out a deep breath, his hands on his chest trying to calm himself down.
"Are you okay, sir? Should I call your doctor?" Kim asked as he ran over to see the CEO with his hands on his chest.
"No, I'm okay," he replied almost immediately and composed himself.
They got into the car and drove off.
"So, sir, how did it go?" Kim asked with a bright smile.
"What do you think?" his voice back to its strict tone.
"I set up the venue of any one of my meetings to be in this restaurant. I don't want to appear like a liar."
"Someone can't wait to see her again," Kim said with a smile as he turned his eyes to his tablet's screen.
