Eugene's pov:
"What do you mean you are too weak to do anything?. Didn't you materialized a sapphire moon ivy for your brothers immediately after materializing a celestial chrysanthemum, before. Those were powerful herbs, so what's stopping you from doing it again?" I growled. She glared at me , "excuse me your grateful majesty, it seems you've forgotten that l materialized a moon ivy for your sister too. And what do l mean by l'm too weak?, I mean that l am weak because l protected your sister from over twenty dark demons, who entered the palace right under your nose without you knowing. And oh, you are welcome by the way" she half yelled. And that made me wake up from my mad state. "You have no right to talk the king in such a manner" Nicholai growled. She looked at him, "l'm afraid at this moment, l do"' she said confidently. "Heaven calm down" said Evelyn. "I am calm , l am very calm right now" Heaven said and took a deep breathe. "I'm out here" she said before leaving. "Eugene, please don't be mad at her. Maybe she is just.. " Xavier said. "Don't bother to say anything Xavier, l understand her perfectly" l said. "I need to be alone" l said and, with that l teleported back to palace. I went to Amora's garden, this is the only place that helps me to cool my head down. I understand what Heaven is trying to say, she is telling me that it was my negligence that got my sister poisoned. And she risked her life to protect her, while l know nothing about what was going on at that time. If it wasn't for her, Angel would be dead. I still don't understand, how did those bastards got into the palace?, How did they pass through the barrier?, How come l didn't sense them?. Those damn bastard dared to enter my palace and hurt my sister. I will make them pay. "Eugene, come right now. Angel has been saved" Lucas mindlinked me, l couldn't believe it. I quickly teleported back to the hospital. I was going to Angel's ward, then, "Bro," l heard Angel screamed from behind me. I looked at her from head to toe, all of the dark marks on her body were gone. I was so happy, that l pulled into a tight hug, "l thought l was going to lose you". "Well, you thought wrong because Heaven saved me" she said. "But how, l thought she had left. Plus, didn't she said that she can't do anything to save you?". "Well, she thought so. But later she suggested that since she is immune to it, she could just absorb the poison in me. But she fainted after that. It really took a toll on her" she said sadly.
"Where is she?" I asked seriously. "In my ward" she said. Before she could say anything, l teleported to her ward. I found Nicholai checking on her. "How is she?". "She will be fine. The poison is almost completely gone. There is only three percent of it left" said Nicholai. I let out a breathe l didn't know l was holding. Angel tapped shoulders, "don't worry bro, Heaven is a strong girl, l'm sure she will be fine". I smiled, it was then l saw that my parents were in the room too together with Hiro, Xavier, Lucas, and Evelyn. "Well, it would be ungrateful of us not to thank her, don't you think?" Said my mom. I nodded my head. Then Heaven began to move, she is waking up. Evelyn poured her a glass of water, and brought it near her lips. And she quickly drank it. She seems to having trouble in opening her eyes. After a few more seconds, she was able to open her eyes. She looked at everyone, one by one. She looks shocked to see my parents here. "Are you okay?" Angel asked worryly. "I'm alright" she smiled. "Thank you so much, Heaven. You are my savior" Angel said with gratitude . "Yes , thank you Heaven. We really owe you alot". Said Hiro. "Thank you so much for your help Heaven. As a reward for your help, l shall grant you three requests. You can ask for anything" said my father. My mother just smiled but l can tell she wasn't comfortable with that. "Thank you, your majesty" Heaven said politely. I just kept staring at her, when she looked at me and our eyes met, l felt an unfamiar feeling. "Don't look at me like that your majesty, l didn't do it for free" she said smilingly. Everyone in the room chuckled except my mom. While my father is beginning to like her guts. "Don't worry, we will figure something out for you" l said. "How about, detoxifying your brothers' ice curse for free" said Nicholai. And her eyes grew big. "You would do that?" She asked. And he nodded affirmatively. "Thank you so much" she said happily. "Don't thank me, this is my way of saying thank you to you" and with that Nicholai left the ward.
