"Uhmm, you told us that you accepted a contract, without telling us before hand" they said angrily. I knew that l would be in trouble, l should have told them before accepting the contract. "I'm sorry, l know l should have told you about it before accepting it" but they interupted before l could finish my sentence. " But you didn't, we thought we are family and we tell each other everything. How could you?. How could you offer yourself like that?". They were really mad, l have never seen them this mad before. They have never raised their voice at me, like ever. I didn't know when l started shedding tears, and their faces softened. "Sis, we are so sorry. We didn't mean to shout at you like that. We... We didn't know what came over us" they said in a low tone. "I have always put you guys first before doing anything, even for myself. Was it wrong of me to choose myself over you just this one time? Was it wrong of me to be selfish just this once ?" I said while crying. And that really got them hard, they began to tear up too. "Sis, we are so sorry. We.. we really didn't mean to do that" they said. I sighed and wiped off my tears. "Sis, we really didn't mean to shout at you like that" said Damion tearfully. This is first time that l would cry in front of them. "Yes, we were just worried about you. We don't want you to leave us" said Derick. I smiled and hugged them both, "it's okay, l'm sorry l didn't tell you about this earlier. But l didn't offer myself to him. I agreed to be his Queen for the time being, not to be his fuck mate. He can't do anything to me unless l allowed him to. I am a hundred times more powerful than him, remember?". "But you might get exposed" they said as they pulled from the hug. "No, l won't. Trust me", they sighed, l could see that they want to argue more but they restrained themselves.
"The contract stated that, l will be his queen until he finds his mate. Once he has found his mate, he will remove the mating curse on me", their eyes grew big, "is that possible?" They asked. "Yes, although the curse can only be broken by it's caster, there was an exception. A demon with the phoenix blood can break the curse by using his or her blood. That was why l accepted the contract. I thought that if there is a chance that l can find my mate then l should seize that chance" l said calmly. "it seems you've known about this exception a long time ago" said Damion. We heard that the elders are very domineering and arrogant because of the power given to them. It was said that all of Dekrish past queens are terrified of them and they always take advantage of that" they said in unison. "But Queen Lisa was the first queen to ever put them in their place, they are even afraid of her. So sis, be even more fearless than her. Let those elders see that you are their worst nightmare" Damion added. I smiled, l know they are not happy about this.
