Chapter 232
Myrah's POV
I knew that a person in a leadership position in a company like ours would eventually have to spend a few days away from home. Over the past three weeks, I had tried to avoid it and delegate my responsibilities so I could remain near Valentino in case of an emergency, but now I found myself trapped with no escape.
I was about three hours away from home in the New Jersey countryside. I oversaw a group of corporate executives in a charitable initiative in which we donated to the medical field, offered free basic healthcare, distributed groceries, and served free food.
We had arrived for the first day of the two-day seminar without encountering any major issues. I participated in every activity and kept an eye on whether things were proceeding as planned. It was an excellent chance to meet new people, learn about their lives, and identify areas that required improvement and how we might contribute to their improvement.
