Chapter 173
Valentino's POV
I saw my girl make her way to the door. My gaze followed her till I saw her safely cross the street and go across. She disappeared into the store, leaving me unable to see her. But when she texted me to let me know she was at the store, I grinned.
I calmly waited for her to arrive or for a message on my phone, which I kept on the table. I chose to hold off on opening the champagne bottle until Myrah arrived, as the waiter had brought it over. It was her most beloved. I instructed the server to put off our dinner for a minimum of fifteen minutes. Without Myrah, I could not begin eating on my own.
I reclined and peered out the window that overlooked the street. I questioned what she was purchasing.
"Hey, Val," I heard a girl's voice, which I recognized. I turned to face the person who had sent the greeting.
