Chapter 84
Valentino's POV
For almost two hours, we had been flying to the Philippines in a family-owned private aircraft. It was essentially expensive and opulent.
For Myrah, this journey was crucial. I knew she loved her father, even though she seldom mentioned him. She simply wasn't prepared to talk about her background or losing her father.
I did not condemn her. I was aware of the suffering and how awful it was. I still struggled to discuss my mom with anyone without crying or getting depressed with unending questions and regrets.
I sat next to Dad as he browsed a poetry book. Flavia and Myrah were conversing across from us. Flavia was constantly holding Myrah's hand. She did admit that she didn't much enjoy flying.
The last few days have seen a significant improvement for her. Her medical report attests to the fact that she was making serious efforts to improve both her physical and mental health.
