Chapter 32
Valentino's POV
I wasn't hungry because I had just finished a meeting over dinner. Regina was in the kitchen when I went in there. I found exactly who I was looking for.
I called out, "Hey Regina," setting the envelope I was carrying on the kitchen table.
Regina was probably about to go to bed after just doing the dishes. Even though she was just twenty-two, she seemed younger. She was vivacious and young.
"Let me serve you dinner."
No thanks. I had dinner at work already. I've come to speak with you. Settle down.
Regina stopped what she was doing, and we both took a seat across from one another at the table. I made the decision to keep it all brief and to the point because I was fatigued.
I handed her the envelope and added, "Here is the money you'll need to finish your studies and take your exams."
"You no longer need to perform additional jobs to pay for your education."
