For the whole two days of walking, Elize only did three things: eat, sleep, and walk. Elize was currently heading toward the northeast to go to the town called Lessana, a town where she could take a ride on the Drorgships there.
But first, Elize needs to traverse the unique, big forest standing before her. This forest was unique not because of its size; it was unique because of its unnatural color. The color was not green, orange, red, yellow, brown, or pink; it was blue.
The forest has taken on the hue of water, which is why it is known as the Sea of Leaves. And because of this unique color the forest have turn into something beautiful that you would have thought it was a flower garden and not a forest at first look.
As Elize walked through the blue forest, she couldn't help but get mesmerized as she looked more closely at the leaves above her. She then suddenly remembered the time she and her brother went to this forest 12 years ago.
"Alright, Elize. We're now approaching the renowned sea of leaves. Don't look up too much; your neck could ache once we leave the forest, okay?" Elize's brother remarked to her as he carried her on his shoulders.
"Yeah, I should not look up too much," Elize said to herself after remembering what her brother said to her back then.
Elize takes a straight look and continues walking. After a while of walking through the forest, she saw some lizards with wings, flying above her. "A Pako-Pako?" Elize said to herself. Elize then took a glance at them and stared at them for a while.
"Three. Above the trees. And flying very quickly. It looks like they are escaping from something dangerous." Dina mumbled as she looked at the direction in which the Pako-Pako were flying away.
Elize is hearing loud stomps in the direction where the Pako-Pako are flying away, so Elize quickly equipped herself with the knife Amanda gave her.
After a while of waiting for the possible threat to approach Elize, it finally arrives. "A vallion?" Elize asked herself after seeing the large gray wolf with four blue eyes and two blue tails appear from the blue bushes before her.
The vallion then suddenly roared, summoning five small vallions near it, and quickly turning back to run away. "It's running away?." Elize said. She then proceeded to chase it, but the little vallions it summoned have quickly blocked her way, so Elize had no choice but to fight them.
Elize immediately attacked the two vallions near her; she stabbed them on the head with her knife. The attack was so instant that the two vallions didn't even manage to react when they got stab.
She instantly turned her head toward the other three behind her after stabbing the two. When one of the vallions leapt toward Elize, Elize just booted it and stabbed it when it dropped on the ground.
The last two vallions both simultaneously attacked her. They tried to bite Elize, but she just evaded it and then quickly finished them.
Elize continued chasing the big vallion, who was running away from her, until she reached the river in the center of the forest. A blue, clear river that cuts the forest into two.
She can now see the vallion well because the shrubs are no longer in her way. Elize noticed the vallion standing in the middle of the river and wondered why it wasn't moving.
The vallion is trembling. As Elize keeps moving toward it, the more trembling it gets. Elize realized this, so she stopped, stared at the vallion, and asked, "Are you scared?"
The vallion understood what she said. "No. I'm not scared!" the vallion spoke as it trembled in fear.
"I see. Let's start then," Elize said as she ran toward the vallion.
Elize immediately jumps toward the vallion. "Wait! Wait! Please don't kill me!" The vallion exclaimed as it took a step back.
"I thought your not scared?" Elize inquired to the vallion.
"Lying. I'm lying, so please forgive me, i just got lost around here, if i find out of the forest, me will never come back, please let me live." The vallion said to Elize.
"Calm down, I can't understand what you're saying." Elize said.
"Sorry, I'm not good at human language. What I mean is that please let me live; I promise I will not come back here." The vallion said.
"Alright, what are you doing here anyway?" Elize asked the vallion.
"I'm lost. I got separated from my Kutolo, i mean father. Now I can't find father." The vallion responded.
"I see. Well, good luck on finding your father then. I'm leaving now." Elize said as she cross the river.
"Thank you." The vallion said after running toward the another side of the river.
Elize noticed a large town on the horizon as she finally reached the end of the forest. "Lessana," Elize thought to herself. Elize then proceeded to walk toward the town.
As she walked, Elize saw craters on the ground, arrows, and two big blue tails lying on the ground.
"I wonder what happened here." she said to herself as she kept walking through the battlefield.
Elize then takes a look at the town before her. "The town have no damage. It looks like they won." Elize said after observing the town.
"Now this blue tail. It's a vallion tail." Elize mumbled as she looked at long blue tails on the ground. tails on the ground.
Elize realized something, so she quickly ran toward Lessena. She then approached the guards standing at the entrance of the town and asked, "What happened there?" She said as she pointed at the battlefield.
"Oh, there were two vallion that attacked us yesterday. We killed one, while the other escaped through the sea of leaves. Wait, you came from the sea of leaves, right? Did you see a vallion there?" the guard asked to Elize.
"No. I didn't see one. Anyway, where is the vallion you guys killed?" Elize inquired.
"There." The guard responded as he pointed at the center of the city, where there were a bunch of people grouping up there, looking at the vallion they killed.
