The Drorgship landed on the Drorgport in the heart of Cress City. A movable crane then appeared where the drorg landed and attached its pulleys to the metal structure that resembled a conventional ship and was built on top of the drorg to act as a carrier for its passengers and staffs.
The pulley then raised the metal structure and placed it on the ground where the passengers could safely exit the metal structure. Some of the passengers went to the back of the metal structure to retrieve their cargos, while others quickly went out to explore the famed Cress City.
And one of those people is Elize, who immediately headed out when the metal structure was placed on the ground. After leaving the drorgport she was instantly welcomed by the city's dazzling lights.
Elize observes a variety of individuals visiting the city as she walks through the city's stone walkway to find an inn to stay in. After a while of nonstop walking, Elize finally found an inn where she could safely stay.
When she opened the door of the inn, Elize was greeted by a short-haired girl who was wearing a maid's suit. "Good evening, welcome to the Adrick Inn; please follow me." the girl said to Elize as she led her toward the receptionist.
When Elize finally reached the reception desk, a guy sitting on the chair at the back of the desk welcomed her. "Good evening, I'm the receptionist." the guy said after standing up from his seat.
"How much for one night?" Elize asked to the receptionist.
The receptionist then immediately grabs a paper from the desk shelf and examines it. "It's 150 coins for one night," the receptionist replied with a smile.
Elize then took the tiny pouch around her waist and unzipped it, revealing a slew of coins within. She tallied the coins and calculated the precise amount she needed to pay for a room.
After counting the coins, she then gave the exact amount of coins to the receptionist. The receptionist counted it once again to make sure it was the exact amount; after confirming it, he then took the coins and put them inside the small chest at the side of the desk. "Your room number is 205; it's on the second floor." the guy then said to Elize.
"Please follow me, ma'am. I'll lead you to your room. " the short-haired girl said to Elize.
After a while, "This is your room, maam." the short-haired girl said to Elize. "Please tell me if there are any problems with your room, well then i'll be leaving now." the short-haired girl added after quickly leaving Elize alone in her room.
Elize then entered the room where she was going to stay for the whole night. Elize explored the room; it was just a small, cozy room containing only one bed with a shelf and a window next to it, along with some decorations on the walls of the room.
Elize then takes the bag on her back and places it on the bed. She then closes the curtains on the room's window and opens the bag, which contains an urn and some clothing. Elize takes the garments out and changes her clothes.
Her black robe has been replaced by a scarlet-red skirt and a white dress. She then put the replaced clothes in the bag and closed the bag. After that, Elize pulled out her sack of money again and counted how many coins she still had.
After counting it, she then looked at the bag and said, "I'll be leaving you here for now, brother. I'm going out to eat. I'm sorry I can't bring you with me. I don't want you to get snatched."
She then grabbed the bag, put it under the bed, and left the room. As she walked down the stairs, she could hear someone getting scolded in the direction of where the reception desk was, so she decided to take a look at what was happening.
"Gilbert, I know this is your first day, but come on, memorize everything that is written on the paper." the short-haired girl said to the receptionist.
"I'm sorry, but that letter was really boring to read." the receptionist said to the girl standing before him.
"Looks like his getting scolded.." Elize mumbled to herself as she watched them from the stairs.
Elize then continued going down the stairs and headed to the door of the inn. The girl noticed Elize opening the door, so she quickly turned her head towards Elize and said, "Stay safe!" as she smiled at her.
Elize then returned to the city center and walked to the tavern just in front of the Drorgport's entrance. Elize entered the bar through the front door, where she noticed a group of men drinking beer right near to the door.
Elize then glances across the whole tavern to find that there is no difference between the folks sitting adjacent to the door and those sitting away from the door; they are all drinking beers. "I truly made the right decision not to bring brother here," she muttered to herself.
At this hectic restaurant, she then attempted to find a table where she could enjoy a tranquil meal. She called the waiter after locating one in the far corner of the restaurant and ordered a basic meal to eat.
After a while, the waiter came back with her dinner. Elize then silently ate her dinner until someone famous around the city approached her. A man wearing a hat that concealed his face walked slowly toward Elize. At first, Elize ignored the guy, thinking that maybe he was just a drunk guy who couldn't find his way back to his table.
But the guy suddenly sat on Elize's table and said, "Good evening, beautiful lady, why are you eating this food for poor people? Someone like you doesn't deserve meals like this; if you come with me, I can give you a dish that more better to eat than this."
"No, thank you." Elize quickly responded before continuing to eat the foods on the table.
Once Elize refused the unknown person, two large guys appeared on his back, one of them said, "Hey girl, how dare you reject the offer of the mayor's son!"
"Yeah, how dare you!" the another guy exclaimed at Elize.
