Chapter 31 - 31

"Often, I'm accustomed to flying," Kire agreed and approached him with his hands outstretched.

The vampire readily clung to the young man, grabbed him around the waist and, spreading his wings, flew up into the gap between the treetops. 

Their faces were half buried in each other's lush hair fluttering in the wind, and the abrupt breathing of the syrinx, tense in flight, caused Kire to have a surge of sympathy for his new friend. He unexpectedly kissed him on the neck, causing the vampire to become noticeably agitated and Imarinis shout out with joy:

"Wow! So glad! What else?"

Kire was embarrassed and decided not to show his emotions anymore for the rest of the flight. However, this action was enough for Imarinis to begin reciprocating affection after landing, pressing the boy to the wall of the building, breathing excitedly. With his eyes shining brightly in the darkness, he gave him a hot kiss and he cupped his face with his palms.
