The Overlord soon learned about Lariel's visit and hurried to Eriolan with an apology:
"Sorry, I didn't think that this weasel would find out about you and bother you..."
"Rohen, you could have introduced me to your family earlier! I'm annoyed! Your Zarian husband is more handsome than me!" he King said irritably, capriciously curling his lips.
"Don't talk nonsense... You are no less beautiful!"
Eriolan clasped his hands and continued his hysterics:
"You have too many male partners! And you never said anything about this Lariel! And he is awesome! He has lilac hair and eyes! How so?"
"Are you jealous? I told you that I am polygamous, even a couple of handsome men are not enough for me, and I am not going to limit you. That was the deal between us!"
"What else don't I know about you, dear husband?" Eriolan muttered in a moody tone. "What other secrets?"
"Almost none!"
