Chapter 4 - 4.Captured

As their brother lay dead, they did not even have time to mourn the loss when they heard abnormal sounds outside the den.

These sounds were like none they had heard of.

These sounds seemed to be getting closer to the den making the hearts of the wolves beat with fear. It was as though the bloodline was telling them that the creature approaching the den was their greatest predator on top of being the most cruel. Compared to this creature, the white tiger and the green mountain lion were harmless babies. Although level one demonic beasts were called fearless demonic beasts, at this moment, the pack was riddled with fear of what was to happen next.

In this moment, the white wolf, the weakest member of the pack was the first to snap out of the fear and he quickly howled at his mother and sister who also snapped out of the fear.

The pack made the only choice they had left to them by the merciless heavens, they ran out of the den at their greatest speed.

The moment they rushed out of the cave, a brown net fell from the sky and trapped the three wolves.

The white wolf did not know what the thing trapping them was, but he knew that he could not let the pack end here, not moments after vowing to protect the pack. The three wolves struggled with all their might, trying to bite through the net with their sharp canines but this was not to be.

When the wolves had struggled for a few hours, they ran out of energy and this was when their captors finally showed themselves.

These creatures were very abnormal in the eyes of the wolves. They walked on two feet and had no claws, fur, wings, or even horns. These creatures had covered themselves in what seemed to be the dead skin of various mighty beasts.

To the bewilderment of the wolves, these creatures looked as though they belonged to the lowest level of the food chain and yet they had been able to capture the wolves with almost no effort at all.

The wolves looked at the weird creature with ever-increasing terror at these mysterious beings.

One of the creatures threw a small round ball into the net. The ball busted creating fumes that the wolves breathed in instinctively.

After a few minutes, the wolves fell to the ground unconscious.

The creatures carried the wolves onto their shoulders and moved away from the wolf den.

On a muddy trail in the forest, the creatures met up with other creatures of their kind who seemed to know what to do.

They had a waggon which had cages of different sizes. These cages were filled with many different demonic beasts such as white tigers, mountain lions, whiteback gorillas, and many more.

The wolves were thrown into three different cages next to each other. The cages were then locked before the wagon set off being pulled by two horses.
