* Flashback*
Arianna and Ken are seated on the bleachers having chips.
' Senior Ken, what do you want to do as a career in the future?' Arianna ask. Ken looks at her. ' Why do you ask?' He says.
' I am curious. So if I find out, I will come and visit you everyday and disturb you till you finish teaching me how to be responsible. ' Arianna replies. ' Why do I feel like you won't be responsible anytime soon? ' Ken asks. ' Of course, I won't. If I become responsible then what will be left for you to teach me?' Arianna replies. ' Bad little kitten! ' Ken says. ' That's right senior, this kitten is never gonna grow up. Now tell this curious kitty what she wants to know ' Arianna replies.
' I want to be an event planner. ' Ken replies.
' What motivated you to do so? ' Arianna asks. ' Each time the house got decorated for an event, it felt like magic watching the transformation. And I always felt like performing the " magic" ' Ken replies.
' Then I want to be an event planner as well.' Arianna says decisively. ' Why?' Ken asks obviously surprised.
' So we can perform the magic together and if I make a mistake ( which I am sure I will) you will have to teach me. ' Arianna replies. Ken laughs and pinches her cheek. ' Bad little kitten ' He says. Arianna turns into a tomato.
* End of Flashback*
' He just motivated me. Why are you two teasing me?' I asked. I could feel my face heat up.
' Fine, Fine, Let's spare her' Ashley says.
We chatted about music to movies to celebrities till our cake was ready.
We took pictures together and finally we ate it while having icecream. Arian of course ate his baby food and the little angel fell asleep immediately. I placed him in his cot.
Riona and Ash helped me book a flight and we binged watched movies. Riona was an only child and her parents were busy doctors and she had the laziest nanny who just loved sleeping. So our house was like hers as well.
We spend the rest of the week eating, taking pictures and watching movies. Soon it was Friday morning.
Riona came with her sleeping bag. She was going to sleepover so she could see me off tomorrow.
Riona, Ash and I were chatting as usual when Lucian called me. I signalled to Rio and Ash to keep quiet.
' What's up Lucian?' I say
' Ari, I wanted to invite you to my dad's beach house tomorrow by 6pm. Just Sasha, Riona, you and I before we all go off to college.' Lucian says. ' Um. sure. See you tomorrow then ' I reply.
Ash and Rio pass me puzzled glances.
' Lucian wants the four of us to come to his beach house tomorrow for a party before we go off to college. ' I say.
' Why'd you say yes to him?' Rio asks.
' If I didn't he would keep questioning me. By 6pm tomorrow I would be in Chicago. ' I reply. Rio's phone rings, she answers it. ' Hi Lucian, what's up?... Party? Sure.. I will be there. Thanks, See you. ' Riona says and hangs up.
' Riona, you have to pretend that you don't know that I went to Chicago. I will tell them that I went to Vegas. When I arrive, I will tell them I am pregnant and my due date is close. You can't say anything to anyone. Ash don't even reply to them.
I will tell mom and dad about Arian this November.' I say.
I spent the rest of the day packing and then we made dinner and had it and we all went to our different rooms ( Yep Rio has her own room in our house).
I lay on my bed and took out a photo from my drawer. It was of me and my Senior Ken. We were at a carnival wearing matching clothes. The picture was taking with us holding hands. ' Will we meet in Chicago? Your Little Kitten is coming to find you. Didn't I tell you I will come to bother you? I am a mom now and Arian reminds me a lot about you. Good night Senior Ken. ' I kissed the photo frame. I picked up the photo and wrapped the clothes I wore in the photo frame and wrapped the clothes around it. Then I placed them in the basket I found Arian in. These are my most PRECIOUS possessions. I kept the basket in my suitcase.
I don't know what awaits me in the future, but I am ready.
