Chapter 48 - **Ch 48: Troy's Dilemma

After taking Troy and his friends back to his beach house mansion near the Coast, Evan said, "Have her lie down," as he opened up a spare bedroom.

He knew Becky was in the first trimester of her pregnancy, which wasn't easy. She was sick and needed as much rest as she could get. However, choosing to be on the go with Troy and his friends meant she had little to no rest, given they had to be on the move to avoid other vampires attacking them. Being a young Alpha made Troy a target, and the Collin Coven is well-known for having numerous envious enemies who would love to detain them.

After Troy tucked her in for the night, he stepped out with Evan. Silence dwindled between them as he followed behind Evan, sulking his head down low. Disgrace weighed heavily on his shoulders because someone in his family found out about his shameful affair, which led to an unplanned pregnancy.

Back inside a sunroom deck, crafted entirely out of glass to capture the magnificent view of the sea waves and the sandy white beach, the glassy room also enchanted the stellar sights of the stars at night or even the first rays of the rising sun. Evan relaxed on a barstool at the long bar with the sink and countertops behind his back. Troy took a seat in front of him, having the twilight beach scenery view behind him.

"How am I going to explain this to my father without getting exiled on the spot?" Troy sighed.

There were no excuses for what he did, so explaining his liaison behavior to Chester wouldn't be doable.

Evan sought for what he wanted to say as he poured them both a whiskey glass of fresh blood. "You wanna know how I kept myself from getting banished?" Rather than giving him an answer to his dilemma, Evan instead asked him a serious question.

Out of wedlock, Evan had over a thousand little whippersnappers roaming around on Earth and in other worlds, with none of them having the same mothers, which is highly scowled upon in their Coven because of Vlad's strict rules. He has been more than close to being banished by his father Zen and his grandfather Vlad, for breaking the Coven rules.

"You've been a good father, and you always offer support to their mothers," Troy answered, and Evan nodded his head.

To this day, he supports the mothers and their offspring even after adulthood.

"You have to prove you are gonna step up," Evan strongly advised, yet Troy frowned.

"Where do I even start to do that?" he fretted. "Unlike you, I'm married. You only refused to get married while you had offspring with a ton of females."

"I just answered your question," Evan pointed out, bringing the glass to his lips.

"How?"

After swallowing down a swig of blood, he says, setting the glass down, "You have to fix your marriage first and figure out a balance with supporting Becky and your offspring," Evan summoned it up by breaking it down for him, but it was one of those things that were easier said than done.

"How can I do that when my wife won't talk to me?" Troy frowned.

Evan gave it to him straight, "I can't blame her. She found you rolling around in bed with her best friend. She shared that bed with you, so think about how hurt she felt?"

"She was devastated," Troy frowned as he brooded back.

He cheated on her many times, and that one day was the first time he got busted. Chester always figured he was cheating, but he could never confirm it, while Troy had a hunch his wife Isabel knew as well. Whatever the case was, if she did know, Isabel chose to turn a blind eye to it until two years ago when she found him in bed with Becky, her best friend, and she finally walked out on him. That was the day Troy got partly exiled from the Coven, and since after that day, his wife spoke with him on and off.

Until recently, Isabel had nothing to do with him over these past six months. She blocked his cell phone number, and anytime Troy went to her family's Coven, they claimed she was never there even when he smelled her scent, they still shooed him away, making it impossible for him to speak with her.

"You have more against you compared to me. First, you lied about Isabel being your destined mate. Then you cheated on her countless times, and now you got Becky pregnant," Evan narrowed it down, which didn't help Troy's dilemma.

"I'm dead!" Troy exclaimed. "If I can't figure out how to fix this, I'm a goner! It's getting bad out there."

The young Alpha was scared and worried for the vampiress who carried his offspring. He knew once his father Chester and his great-grandfather Vlad found out about it, he and the non-royal vampiress had a high risk of being exiled from the Coven. Without having the full protection of the Coven, anything could happen to the Alpha and his offspring. Of course, he didn't want that to happen since he had a taste of what it was getting like out there.

Dimensional worlds were getting hazardous because of the coming votes for his Aunt Victoria. Never once had he met her or his Uncle Kai, but he knew who they were from hearing their names being talked about on other worlds.

"War is upon us all. You need to start using your brain instead of thinking with the head that doesn't have one," Evan advised, and he knew what he meant.

"I know. I really did myself in on this one," Troy murmured, agreeing.

"You are worried about your dad when you should be more worried once Vlad gets a hold of you," Evan chuckled.

"He's awake!" Troy panicked, turning paler than bleach.

"Not yet, but your Uncle Kai will find him shortly," Evan shared.

"I thought no one could wake him until the month of the Blue Moon," Troy stated once he remembered his great grandfather's rules about waking him too soon. Anyone who doesn't follow Vlad's rules, will surely be punished.

"Yeah, your Uncle Kai doesn't care about rules. He'll likely get a slap on the wrist because Vlad favors him." Evan told his younger cousin as he refilled his glass with more blood.

"I haven't met my Uncle Kai," Troy stated.

"Trust me when I say you'd rather deal with your dad over your Uncle Kai. If Kai's offspring did what you pulled over the years, he would have punched his son's face in for doing what you did." Evan chuckled.

"I think I would rather not meet him." Troy gulped.
