Sharlene just about came undone as her eyes rolled up into her head. Ripples of intense pleasure tickled along her skin. As he licked and chewed on her earlobe, her body shivered against his firmly toned frame. On the outside of her clothing, he traced his hands up her sides until he cupped her breasts and squeezed them. The way his teeth began to nip her skin made her toes curl from the inside of her black high-heel boots, especially when his face lowered to her cleavage. Once she heard the faint shrieking from the other men inside their bedrooms, she forced the man off her breast and pushed him across the carpet until his back flipped onto the bed. Sharlene was quick to climb on top of him, and she straddled her spread legs between his groin as her inner thighs hugged his hips, and then she tore his shirt in half. The man was taken aback because she was such a tiny pregnant lady to overpower him as she did. His eyes gaped as Sharlene's pale grayish blue eyes shimmered into a crimson color, and she smiled seductively as her mouth opened to show her sparkly sharp fangs while he held her waist.
"What the— Aaah—" He yelped when she bent his neck to the side by his hair, and then her face flung downward on his neck as her long ginger-colored hair flared over the mattress whenever her hair strands flipped above her neck and head.
The man screeched as she tore her fangs right into his flesh. He struggled, but no matter how hard he fought to push her off of him, he couldn't throw her tiny pregnant body away from him. Beads of blood seeped to his collarbone and into the blanket as she sucked in his blood. Before too long, she drank him as dry as a raisin. With a pleasurable hiss, she flung her upper body upward and licked the blood from her mouth with her tongue as she ran her fingertips through the roots of her hair before she brushed her hand down the length of her hair strands. Once she fixed her shirt, she met the others in the living room to leave.
Shortly after, Rose summoned a few of Kai's minions to clean up the bodies they had left in the bedrooms. They left out the door together. After leaving the hotel, Sharlene and her group ran into her ex and his friends in the back parking lot. Being cold, no one else was around even though the starry night gave off a lucent shine. Yet still, no one was here aside from them. At this point, Sharlene was hoping someone was nearby. This way, she wouldn't have to deal with Declan, her ex-boyfriend, and his friends.
"I see you have been busy knocking yourself up," Declan chuckled, scanning her round pregnant belly.
Sharlene held her tears as he mocked her misfortune. Right when she was about to stand up for herself, Declan got side-swiped in the face by this incoming shadow, which knocked him off balance, and there was a deep cut along his cheekbone. Between Sharlene and Declan, Jack solidified his body into his form before he glared at Declan, who harassed her. After regaining his sturdy stance from being nearly knocked over, Sharlene's ex-boyfriend scowled at Jack. Declan's glare only darkened as he touched the bloody gash wound that Jack inflicted on him when he clawed his face in his shadowy form. As the deep wound healed, Declan was about to say something rude to Jack, but when he glanced past Jack's shoulder, he noticed Kai, Ace, Ivan, and his other friends were standing around the other four vampiresses. Since his Alpha's father was friends with Kai's Uncle Zen, he backed away and left with his pals. Just because Kai's family was allies or friends with anyone's Coven, didn't always mean their members got along. Plus, Sharlene's ex knew better than to ever challenge Kai.
"Are you okay?" Jack frowned at Sharlene until she hugged him, which again, he didn't anticipate would happen.
"Thanks, Jack," she whispered against his collarbone from over his leather coat.
Jack gladly hugged her, yet his nose twitched once he picked up the scent of another man on her, which he didn't like. Thanks to the mark and because Sharlene carried his offspring, he was prone to jealousy, and he became impulsively possessive with her. Where he stood holding Sharlene, he saw Kai's intense eyes were on him. Kai delivered him a narrow look to control his jealousy. Otherwise, Jack already knew he'd never gain Sharlene's heart if he didn't maintain control of himself. So he pushed his envy aside, and he enjoyed this moment to hold her while she allowed him.
Minus Eva, everybody else smiled at them hugging each other. It wasn't like she had anything against Jack, but after witnessing her husband fall to his knees due to Savannah's seductive spell, Eva didn't want her older sister to marry him. In many ways, Eva felt she was protecting her sister by telling her to avoid a relationship with him. Meanwhile, their friends felt differently from Eva, including their parents, but the decision was up to Jack and Sharlene to work things out between them.
"Let's head home," Rose declared while Ace had his arm around her waist.
"Or we can go on a date while the baby is sleeping," Ace hinted, winking at her, which earned him a giggle.
"I like that idea." Rose agreed before she kissed his lips.
"You guys enjoy yourselves. I think the rest of us are heading back," Ivan announced, and everybody nodded in agreement.
Before everyone could take off, Kai felt another distress call from his offspring.
"Victoria!" Kai took off for the mansion. He knew she was home, but he didn't know why his unborn offspring were signaling him again.
