Ezra enjoyed the meal in front of him. It was quite delicious and hearty. "Florence, can I have the recipe for this?" he asks politely.
"Of course," Florence replies, smiling at him.
Paul clears his throat lightly. "So, Ezra," he says, "do you plan on leaving the Dumas family to come and live with us?" he asked.
Ezra looks at Florence in confusion. 'I thought she said she told him everything?' he thought when Florence refused to meet his eyes. "I am planning on leaving the Dumas family, but I'm not planning on living with you," he replies to Paul's question.
Paul raised an eyebrow at Ezra's reply. "Is there a reason for this?" he asked in a harmless tone.
"I just don't want to," Ezra replies. He then says, "Don't worry, I can take good care of myself."
