Florence ate her meal empty-mindedly, thinking of how she would talk to her husband about her current problem.
"Florence," Paul called her name, tapping her gently snapping her out of her thought. "You've barely touched your food," he said.
She looked up to see everyone was already done eating and was looking at her worriedly. "Mummy, why are you not eating?" Lincoln asked.
"Mummy ate too much sweets, so now she isn't hungry," she lied.
The children believed her, but her husband knew she was lying. Florence pushed her plate back and said excitedly, "Alright, who wants a bubble bath before going to bed?"
"Florence what's wrong?" Paul asked when they had finally tucked their children to bed.
Florence looked at her husband holding her arms. "Paul, there's something we need to talk about..."
