"We're here," Milky sang when they got to her house. She opened the door to the house, and they were greeted by Emmanuel.
"The fair maiden has returned," Emmanuel said walking to Candice, the young boy cupped her hand and smiled boyishly at her.
Candice returned his smile. "Hey," she said. She was amused by his behaviour and she watched as Emmanuel's face slowly turned red.
"It smells good in here," Arthur mutters. Milk grabbed Ezra by the arm, earning a glare that she ignored from Arthur.
Arthur walks behind them as she pulls Ezra to the kitchen, where her mum is making final preparations for the grand lunch. "Hey mum," Milky says, stopping in the kitchen.
Raquel turns around hearing her daughter calling her. She saw the way she was holding Ezra's arm and raised an eyebrow at her, as she said, "Hey."
