....

Auxiliary system soul master usually have no combat ability, so they usually need protection from the other teammates.

But now…

Silk Rong looked at the bastard slumped under the big tree and couldn't help her mouth from twitching.

"Thanos reacted really fast and the kick was almost executed perfectly. This type of strength and speed is really not something a ten year child can have."

Ling Ren said from the side. He himself was unable to react to the attack of the young man.

"You're lying…you are no…auxiliary system soul master. Curse you…"

The young bastard shouted while coughing and gasping for breath.

"You're still talking nonsense, if you can't take out the gold coins for compensation, today, I'll let you know how much malice this world has for you."

Wang Feng answered him in a cheery tone making the young man feel a shiver ran down his spine.

'This kid is crazy!'

The kick now has caused him some injuries but it was not enough to make him lose his combat abilities. He is dignified Soul Grandmaster who is about to enter the realm of Soul Elder.

"I just wanted to teach a lesson a kid. I didn't use soul skills on you kid but now I have changed my mind."

"Soul skill, Eagle Clone!"

The young man yelled as two yellow ring consecutively appeared around him and a grey eagle phantom appeared behind him.

The skill created phantom images of himself as he rapidly shifted from side to side, appearing to jump horizontally in quick succession. It was as if there were multiple copies of him moving simultaneously.

Wang Feng squinted his eyes, trying to follow the young man movements but it was incredibly perplexing as the shift was instantaneous. The phantoms created by his ability seemed to overlap and intertwine, making it nearly impossible to discern his true body.

Ling Ren immediately warned Wang Feng to be cautious, emphasizing the unpredictable and evasive nature of the young man's soul ability. Even Ling Ren, an experienced soul master, was finding it challenging to track the young bastard movements accurately.

As the bastard continued to taunt them from while within the shifting phantoms, Wang Feng felt the weight of the situation. He couldn't rely on his usual strategies in this unpredictable battle.

Wang Feng thought quickly and decided to focus on the bastard soul power. With his heightened perception, he honed in on the true source of the bastard soul power amidst the chaotic illusions. He prepared himself for an opportunity to strike, knowing that he needed to outwit the young bastard evasive tactics to gain the upper hand.

As the battle continued, the air crackled with tension and Wang Feng remained on high alert, ready to make his move when the time was right.

"This bastard rapid shifting makes me dizzy." Old Black muttered while staring at the young man…bastard.

"This ability is really tricky but he shouldn't be able to maintain those phantoms for long now." Silk Rong added.

It was at this moment that the bastard made a move and appeared behind Wang Feng while shifting from the clones as he tried kicking Wang Feng.

Wang Feng, who had been already alert immediately noticed him and managed to reverse the situation. He abruptly turned around and grabbed the bastards hands and feet, locking him in and preventing him from letting go.

The bastard face twisted in shock as he realized the severity of the situation he was in.

"Ready to experience bungee jumping with your grandfather, I."

After smirking at the young bastard, Wang Feng dashed at such a fast that left the young man reeling in dizziness. Wang Feng quickly dashed toward a tree and body slammed the bastard into it, making his eyes bulge out in pain.

Before he can even fully experience the pain he was once again carried by Wang Feng as he ran once again toward a tall tree of somewhat 30metres and to the surprise of everyone ran up on it, quickly ascending toward the top.

The moment he reached the top of the tree, he jumped vertically reaching at least 40m above ground, before rapidly descending toward the ground.

"hehe! Say cheese."

Wang Feng couldn't help but taunt the bastard, only now did the bastard realize how f'ed up he was. Before he can say something, Wang Feng covered his mouth with his hand.

"No need to say anything, I know you're grateful to your grandfather, I, for letting you experience the freefall."

The seconds stretched as they continued their rapid descent and the bastard desperation grew. He realized he had underestimated Wang Feng's resourcefulness and tenacity. In this precarious situation, he had no choice but to face the consequences of his own actions.

As they plummeted, Wang Feng remained calm, knowing that the outcome was now in his favor. The young man expression shifted from fear to despair as he braced himself for the impending impact.

Meanwhile, the three onlookers, Silk Rong, Ling Ren and old Black, watched the ongoing spectacle with astonishment. They couldn't believe how quickly the tide had turned in this intense battle between a seemingly powerless auxiliary soul master and a seasoned war system soul master.

Silk Rong marveled at Wang Feng's resourcefulness and quick thinking. Even in the face of adversity, he had managed to outmaneuver his opponent. Wang Feng's abilities were proving to be far more formidable than they had initially thought.

As Wang Feng and the young man drew closer to the ground, it was clear that this unexpected twist in the battle was about to reach its climax.

Just before the impact, Wang Feng manhandled the young man as he held him by his feet before using the force of their descent to once again slam the man on his back.

The sheer fear on the young man was a sight to see. He had never felt so much regret in his life and also had never fought someone who would use their own body to attack like this and not some fancy hand to hand combat.

'I'm going to die, I'm really going to die.'

He used all of his remaining soul power to reinforce his back as much as he can and even used his first soul skill to defend himself from impact as much as he can.

'BOOM!'

But the inevitable has to happen and the impact produced a loud boom, scattering dust all around.

The three onlookers, Silk Rong, Ling Ren and Old Black, quickly approached the scene with a mixture of amazement and concern etched on their face.

They couldn't believe what they witnessed—the seemingly powerless auxiliary system soul master had not only survived a fall from a great height but also managed to incapacitate the more experienced war system soul master, the young man, who was now unconscious.

Wang Feng, still clad in his black robe was grinning, responded to their inquiries about his well-being. He playfully mentioned that his body ached terribly, though his demeanor suggested otherwise.

The three couldn't help but exchange puzzled glances, wondering how Wang Feng had emerged from the fall in such good condition. They couldn't reconcile his appearance with the fact that they had just witnessed him plummet from a considerable height.

When they inquired about the young man condition, Wang Feng pointed to the unfortunate war system soul master, who lay in a battered state inside a crater in the ground. His injuries were obvious—his eyes had rolled above and blood trickled from his mouth. He appeared to be in severe pain.

Wang Feng casually explained that he had used him as a cushion during their fall, which had resulted in the stark contrast in their conditions. His seemingly casual statement left the three speechless and they exchanged glances, uncertain of how to react.

Old Black couldn't resist chastising Wang Feng for his recklessness. He kicked the injured war system soul master and chided him for not withdrawing from the dangerous situation.

Throughout this exchange, the young man remained unconscious, his injuries preventing him from waking up. The three then turned their attention to searching the bastard for gold soul coins, a possible form of compensation for his actions and its consequences.

The atmosphere was tense, with Wang Feng's unexpected victory leaving everyone stunned and puzzled. They now had to grapple with the aftermath of this unusual confrontation.

Wang Feng, after searching the young bastard belongings discovered Soul Guidance Device and didn't find anything of substantial value except for a few books. These books, however, were not what they had expected. To their surprise, the books were about explicit adult content, leaving them in an awkward and stunned silence.

Silk Rong, who had curiously inquired about the contents of the books, turned beet red upon seeing them. She couldn't hide her indignation and angrily beated the bastard for his questionable taste in books.

Old Black face also reddened as well and he muttered disapprovingly about the young man choice of reading material. Meanwhile, Wang Feng and Ling Ren couldn't help but chuckle at the situation.

The discovery had taken a humorous twist, with Wang Feng, Ling Ren and Old Black finding it difficult to contain their amusement. They were amused not only by the unexpected find but also by the apparent contradiction between the young bastard martial prowess and his less-than-savory literary preferences.

The situation was as perplexing as it was comical, leaving them pondering the enigma that was Wang Feng.

This was just an event that happened during his first trip to the Soul Hunting forest. After finding another 800 year old soul ring for Silk Rong they retreated back to the city after they bid farewell and when and where to meet next time.

….

Wang Feng continued his rigorous routine, dividing his days between attending classes and honing his skills in the Soul Hunting forest. With each passing day, he grew stronger and more knowledgeable about the various soul beasts in the forest.

His increased combat experience allowed him to develop a deeper understanding of the soul beasts' characteristics, habits and vulnerabilities. This knowledge surpassed that of many instructors at the academy by a far margin.

In the afternoons, Wang Feng ventured into the Soul Hunting forest to engage in intense battles with the soul beasts. The high-intensity combat not only honed his skills but also accelerated his soul power cultivation. This newfound approach to training proved to be more effective than he had initially anticipated.

During the evenings, Wang Feng dedicated his time to meditation and cultivation. He contemplated the route of his soul power circulation in his body, a practice similar to the concept of internal energy cultivation normally shown in Xianxia novels. Although he began with the academy's prescribed meditation methods, he soon found them to be waste of time.

Undeterred, Wang Feng took the initiative to simplify and optimize these energy routes. While this approach was considered risky, he possessed the safety net of the Meteoric Tears to calm any potential outbursts of uncontrollable energy. This daring modification allowed him to streamline his soul power cultivation process and achieve greater efficiency in cultivation.

The path to refining and purifying his soul power was fraught with challenges, including bouts of temporary insanity and loss of control over his body. Nevertheless, Wang Feng persisted, continuously pushing his limits. He made remarkable progress, advancing from level 16 to 20 in a relatively short period.

However, the transition from level 18 to 19 had taken him over two months and the journey from level 19 to 20 has required more than four months. As the yar end drew to a close, Wang Feng was on the verge of reaching level 20 and he couldn't help but wonder about the possibilities that lay ahead of him in his journey.

Compressing and purifying his soul power had proven to be a wise choice and it had brought him unexpected advantages. His soul power was not only growing stronger but also exhibiting superior durability, even in comparison to Soul Elders with much higher levels. This newfound strength filled him with optimism about his future progress.

As he contemplated his journey so far and the potential ahead, Wang Feng couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. With five more years at Nuoding College, he wondered if he could push himself to reach level 30, a feat that once seemed distant but now appeared within his grasp.

The first semester at Nuoding College had come to an end and it was time for Wang Feng, Xiao San and Xiao Wu to return to Holy Soul Village. Wang Feng's experiences at the academy, his newfound knowledge and his improved strength had all contributed to his growth as a soul master.

During this semester, Wang Feng had managed to earn over one hundred gold soul coins through his solo hunts and battles with soul beasts in the hunting forest. This was a significant amount of wealth in the Douluo Continent, equivalent to about one hundred thousand dollars in purchasing power.

With his earnings, Wang Feng had purchased fine iron from a nearby blacksmith to create a heavy weight protective suit. This suit weighed over 300kgs and was used for training purposes. Wearing this suit significantly increased the intensity of his workouts and accelerated his soul power cultivation.

The weight-bearing protective suit forced Wang Feng to use his soul power to control his body at all times, even during normal activities. This constant exertion contributed to his faster cultivation progress. However, it was a level of physical strain that ordinary soul masters couldn't bear and it required Wang Feng's exceptional physical fitness.

As the semester ended, the three of them prepared to return to Holy Soul Village, their hometown, not of Xiao Wu though. Wang Feng had grown stronger, gained valuable experiences and expanded his knowledge base. The time spent at Nuoding College this year had been fruitful but he couldn't forget his roots and the people he cared about in the village.

With renewed determination and a clearer path forward, Wang Feng looked forward to the next phase of his journey, eager to continue his pursuit of becoming a powerful soul master.
