Chapter 64 - Routine

Ahiro had become accustomed to the rigorous schedule at Valorious Academy after a month. Mornings began with him rising early, relishing a long, rejuvenating shower in the comfort of his own room. He then donned his gym attire, ready for the demanding physical classes that awaited.

Staring at his reflection in the mirror, Ahiro couldn't help but notice the subtle changes in his appearance. After a month of proper nutrition, vigorous exercise, and adequate rest, he looked less like a scarecrow and more like a budding athlete. His once lanky frame was now showing signs of muscle development, and his overall physique was taking a healthier form. However, he still was shorter than most people his age, but he had long learned that height didn't determine one's strength or capability.

The physical classes had also evolved over the past month. They had started with basic exercises focused on building stamina, like running and swimming. But as time progressed, the intensity of the training had escalated. What once was outdoor exercise had now transitioned to full-blown gym sessions. Ahiro and his fellow students engaged in various exercises designed to increase muscle mass, enhance strength and endurance, and sculpt their bodies. These workouts were conducted using state-of-the-art machines, emphasizing the importance of both cardiovascular fitness and muscle development. It was a rigorous routine that left every student pushing their limits.

Ahiro had found solace in this routine. He loved the feeling of his heart pounding in his chest, the sweat pouring down his face, and the exhilaration of pushing his body. His self-confidence grew with every passing day as he noticed the visible changes in his physique that were quantified using the academy system, he could see some of the number in his strength, physique and agility increasing week after week and that would keep him more motivated.

He was committed to this new way of life, dedicating himself to a path of self-improvement, not only in terms of his awakened abilities but also in his physical well-being.

After the physically demanding classes, Ahiro would meet up with his group of friends. What had once consisted of just Emily, Ahiro, and Melvin had grown to include John and Sia. John was a massive presence for his age, his muscular build and appetite matching his size. He had forged a friendship with Melvin during culinary classes, bonding over their shared love for all things meat.

Although John had joined the culinary department, he was, in fact, a student in the Strikers department. He had a penchant for feasting and enjoying the fruits of his own culinary labours. Sia was another new addition to their group, a friend of John from the Strikers department who also joined their little group alongside John. She brought a sense of humour and liveliness to their gatherings, often cracking jokes and lightening the mood.

The academic classes were also proving to be enlightening and engaging. The students were exposed to a wealth of new knowledge, and each subject had its own charm. However, General Studies remained the least popular class among the students. While the other subjects ignited passion and curiosity, General Studies was seen as a necessary but somewhat tedious part of their education.

After the General Studies class, the group was divided according to their elective courses. John, Sia, and Melvin had all joined the same class on Awakened Theory, aiming to score the necessary grades without working too much. Emily had decided to focus on the subject of the Seeker department, along with archaeology, her department also offered subjects in foreign languages and other research subjects, Emily would have chosen to opt for all classes if not limit on the number of electives.

Ahiro also made his way to his chosen elective Tech-synthesia. During his month of Tech-Synthesia classes, Ahiro learned about the latest advancements in technology, and he was excited to explore the ever-evolving world of tech. They were currently divided into groups to work on a new project, on a topic related to Drones/AI.

As he entered his Tech Synthesia class, he was joined by his groupmates, Rose and Max. Both were from the Seeker department. Rose was a petite girl with an insatiable curiosity for all things Tech and had always taken a liking to mysterious. Her sparkling green eyes often seemed lost in thought about the occult.

Max, on the other hand, was an inquisitive guy who had a penchant for puzzles and codes. With his unruly mop of black hair and thick-rimmed glasses, he was the stereotypical tech geek. Max and Ahiro had many things in common so they quickly bonded and became friends, and thus decided to form a group together for the project.

The project their little group had embarked on was both exciting and challenging. The focus of their project was a specialized medical drone, designed to provide highly efficient first aid. Ahiro took charge of constructing the drone's physical body, ensuring that it could carry out its medical duties efficiently while remaining lightweight and manoeuvrable.

Rose had her attention towards the medical aspect of the project. She worked on the first aid dispensing unit, ensuring that it could carry a wide range of medical supplies and provide precise and timely assistance.

Max, the tech whiz of their team, was assigned the critical task of developing the artificial intelligence system. With his brilliant mind and extensive knowledge of coding and AI, he was tasked with creating the brain of the medical drone. His genius allowed him to design an AI system that could analyze emergency situations, make decisions on the appropriate first-aid measures, and communicate with people in need.

Professor Throne was a steadfast guide in Ahiro's Tech-synthesia classes and was easily his favourite teacher. Despite his stern demeanour and tendency to give harsh criticism when their projects were lacking, Ahiro appreciated the professor's unwavering commitment to helping his students succeed. Professor Throne was a master of his craft and never hesitated to provide guidance on the correct path to take, no matter how difficult the task at hand. While he rarely praised his students, Ahiro knew that if he received any form of positive feedback from the professor, it was the right path.
