Ahiro and Emilly entered the archeology class, where they found themselves among only eight students, including the two of them. Ahiro knew this class was unpopular and had a hard syllabus but didn't expect it to be this much less apricated.
The classroom was adorned with various tools and gadgets placed on tables, and rows of shelves displayed an impressive collection of relics all safely encased behind glass.
The atmosphere in the room was serene, and the students took their seats quietly. Emilly sat beside Ahiro, her head down, showing signs of shyness that Ahiro respected by not pressing her to speak.
After a few minutes as the clock ticked 3:00 the archeology professor entered inside. Her appearance was striking. She wore a stylish dress with a colorful design of mandalas adored on it. Her walk was highlighted by the sound of her heels, and with a tablet in her hands she stood in front of the students.
Her long, dark black hair was adorned with golden jewelry, the same as her neck and ears.
"Good morning, class," Miss Maya began, her voice containing a subtle accent. "I am Miss Maya, your archeology teacher for this semester."
She moved gracefully to the front of the class, her gaze sweeping across the room. "Before we begin our session of the day, I would like to get to know your name, I also would like to know the reason you want to join this course."
The student in the front seat spoke first "I am Michal, and I would like to be an archeologist just like you" he spoke with an air of confidence.
"Michal was it, so Michal tell me 7 things that should not be in this class of archeology" asked Miss Maya in her bewitching voice.
The boy started frantically looking around only to find nothing "There is nothing out of place" he said.
"Well we did find one thing out of place and that is you, sorry to break it to you but Mr. Michal you do not possess the qualities of being an Archeologist you may leave" she declared her voice carrying authority.
"But why" Michal asked shocked by the turn of events.
"It is simple because I said so," said Miss Maya staring straight into the eyes of Michal causing him to jump in fright before he left the room.
"Now next student" miss maya said, her face returning to her usual angelic smile.
The next student was also asked the same question and he too was unable to answer and was excused from class. The whole class was dumbfounded not even a few minutes into the class and they can see why this class had such bad reviews throughout the college forum.
The next student stood up and spoke "My name is Chriss, and I am sorry I couldn't find out all the seven things but I did find 4, if I am allowed to stay I would like to tell."
Miss Maya smiled and asked him to speak to which he replied. "Thank you, first is the telescope that should rather be a microscope for seeing things in detail, and second and third is those two books on the shelf, their name is The Lost Artifact and Deep Ruin they both are actually fictional novels and fourth is that red colored electronic brush, which is actually a high-frequency brush that rubs coting off the steel plates making it counterproductive in handling delicate relics." he said taking a moment to again look around and then finally said "that's all."
"Good work Chris you are allowed to sit," said the professor politely causing Steven to sigh in relief.
Everyone was impressed and all of the students frantically tried to look around to search for the last 3 things. The next student was asked to name the last 3 things and he was also disqualified since he couldn't answer.
Next was Emilly's turn " My name is Emilly, and the last three things could be The old camera at the end of the room, digital cameras such as these are no use as first they are unusable outside the dome second inside there are many better cameras, second are the tools that are kept in front I don't think they are archeological tools rather are drone maintenance tools, and last is ... am ... you ... r .. " Emilly started Stamering "Your Jewelry mam, an archeologist doesn't dwell in materialistic things as they are just hindrance in research. It is a sentence in one of your books, " finally Emily spoke.
"Correct Miss Emily and with that the 7 things that I wanted u all to point out are all found. You may sit in my class" said Miss Maya. Miss Maya pointed to ahiro and asked him to stand.
"Myself Ahiro Fate, as for the reason behind joining this class would be that I wanted to check for myself the reason behind the criticism of the subject " Ahiro admitted truthfully. he hadn't figured out half of the things others had spoken about and the last items Emily pointed to never crossed his mind.
"Such a poor reason Mr. Fate, all the things written in forums are very true, and this class will only get harder from now on. So tell me Ahiro, since now your curiosity is satisfied why don't you make your way out of this class so we can continue the class? " Miss Maya asked.
Ahiro was half expecting this, he knew he didn't have such keen insights and observation skills as Emilly or Chriss and he would be disqualified, thier was no option left so he started to get up from his seat to go out of class.
"Can I ask one more question before I leave" asked ahiro, there was one doubt he had and needed clarification.
"Well make it quick," said Miss Maya her tone slightly annoyed.
"Why is a kid's toy inside the protected shelf," he said pointing towards the broken piece of wood that was kept inside the Shelf.
