Chapter 6 - The ordinary

As the tumultuous events of the tournament concluded, the Di clan members dispersed with a mingling air of triumph and anticipation. Di Tian felt the weight of uncertainty gnaw at his heart, a premonition that foretold of forthcoming trials beyond his comprehension. Amongst the throng of competitors, none, save Di Yu, bore knowledge of the calamity star's presence and the cryptic web of fate that encompassed it.

The tournament's closure culminated in an audience between the Emperor, representatives of the three great clans, and the leader of the Di clan. The topic at hand was none other than the Di clan's ancestor's achievement of half-step transcendence—an accomplishment that could potentially alter the balance of power within the dynasty. Conversations were measured and coded, each word laden with veiled implications and an aura of caution.

Di Tian, meanwhile, embarked on a futile quest to locate Di Yu amidst the throngs of the Di clan members. His search proved fruitless, leaving him to navigate the currents of uncertainty alone. Unbeknownst to him, Di Yu's trajectory had taken an unforeseen turn, veering into uncharted realms obscured from ordinary sight.

Amid the labyrinth of shifting destinies, Di Tian's existence remained a mere fragment in the grand tapestry of time. His perceived journey, marred by the ominous link to the calamity star, cast a shadow over his aspirations to attain the realm of transcendence. Despite his unyielding perseverance, Di Tian was oblivious to the undercurrents of karma entwining his existence. The calamity star does not confer a great fate to its link. It only bestow great karma making Di Tian's achivement of the Transcendence realm becomes a dream. To transcende, a spirit realm paragon must comprehende all his karma. Unfortunately, the karma brougth by the calamity star was shrouded by the mysterious celestial ether.

Dissatisfaction with the constraints of his circumstances drove Di Tian to severe his ties with the Di clan. Determined to chart an independent path, he withdrew from the ancestral home, seeking solace in seclusion within a humble mortal village. The passage of time marked a ceaseless rhythm, as two decades elapsed, encompassing Di Tian's secluded existence.

Within the confines of his chosen abode, Di Tian refined the Origin-Source Scripture to its zenith. A complex symphony of qi manipulation and meridian transmutation, the scripture epitomized his dedication and the culmination of his cultivation journey. However, despite amassing eighty-one strands of innate qi, Di Tian's path remained obstructed by an insurmountable barrier.

The age-old maxim echoed in his consciousness—the innate realm transcended the mortal plane, surging with power beyond mortal comprehension. Yet, the innate qi's potency surpassed the human heart's capacity, rendering attainment a distant dream. Di Tian stood at the crossroads of age and aspiration, grappling with the inexorable passage of time.

Across the vast expanse of the realm, the Di clan expanded its dominion, establishing a fourth territory within the empire. Di Yu's ascent echoed the clan's meteoric rise, with his innate realm prowess nearing the precipice of the peak. Di Tian, cocooned in his self-imposed exile, remained oblivious to the realm's swift transformations.

Amid the tranquility of the village, an unexpected arrival disrupted Di Tian's solitude. Wu Tiger, an enigma shrouded in vitality and youthful vigor, breached the quietude of Di Tian's haven. Wu Tiger's presence ignited a spark of recognition within Di Tian's gaze, a distant echo of an encounter woven into the tapestry of their past.

In the midst of the serene village, a dialogue unfurled, as two souls exchanged simple words against the backdrop of time's ceaseless flow. Amidst the exchange, Wu Tiger failed to recognize the aged visage of the man before him, their previous encounter obscured by the sands of time.

Gazing upon the village children, Di Tian's heart swelled with an unanticipated insight—a newfound clarity born of the union between determination and acceptance. In the presence of the innocent, Di Tian glimpsed a path diverging from the aspirations that had once consumed him. The prospect of forging a legacy, a lineage that might one day ascend to the stars, sparked a peace long-eluding his grasp.

A harmonious stillness descended upon Di Tian, his heart aligning with the innate qi coursing through his meridians. In a symphony of unity, the eighty-one strands of qi surged forth, fusing with his being and dispelling the limitations of age. Di Tian's form underwent a wondrous transformation, rejuvenating his appearance to that of a vibrant thirty-year-old, vitality radiating from his every pore.

Far removed from the celestial machinations, within the village enclave, the passage of time flowed unburdened by the constraints of destiny. The essence of Di Tian's journey pivoted, shedding the shackles of cosmic manipulation, as his narrative transcended the bounds of fate.

"Once I attain the spirit great realm. I will create my own sect to impart the dao: the Star Seeking sect. It seems that entering the dao with the physical body does bring the benefits of incrising the talent"

In fact Di Tian has always been talented. It was just that his physical endowement was not enough compared with his aspirations.

'It is time to leave this village and forge the second chapter of the star seeking art; The primordial singularity'

At the same time, in the Di clan Di Yu was facing a critical joncture.

'Thanks to my past life memories I am already at the pinnacle of the innate. Even those genius of the central continent are not more than'

'However, compared to those born spirit I am a little short'

'Once I enter the spirit great realm I will be able to harness the mysterious stone's abilities'

What Di Tian was cultivating was a technique he created based on the Di clan's White crane martial Dao: the immemorial white crane scripture. In his previous life after arriving to half-step transcendance, he had to create a new technique as the Di clan's Dao could not lead to transcendence. Moreover his foundation was already set so he could not just switch to another technique. He could only comprehend the mysteries of cultivation and elevate the White Crane technique, until it reaches the top rank transcendant technique.
