My skills were completely insane. I knew I would be well off when my choice ended up being excalibur but this was a tad ridiculous. From having to get someone else to pay my entry fee at the gate to now having over 1000 Platinum. I don't know what kind of luck but shit luck I have but this is crazy. My luck stat isn't even that high!
As I mentally complained about how overpowered I was becoming I decided to transfer my experience to attributes. I wanted to eventually use magic now that I had seen how incredible it was but I needed to do it safely. I had plenty of EXP stored so I decided to leave an extra margin of error and distributed them 1/1/3/1. After doing the math I could 105 in Constitution and 35 in everything else but I wanted to keep my Mana even so I sacrificed a few points in Strength and Dexterity.
My new attribute totals were definitely not someone a day one player should have.

I sighed when I looked at my attribute panel. All those potions I purchased from earlier won't do anything for me now. Even if I drank them all together I wouldn't even recover 1/10th of my total HP.
At least now I didn't have to be afraid of much in this world. Between my stats and skills, unless I go around making enemies all over the place, I should have a smooth ride.
I didn't know how late it was but it should have been a few hours so I got up and headed back to the market to help Charlie pack up his stall.
One of the best perks of being abnormally tall is that it is so easy to find things in a crowd, it's like walking amongst children. Soon I appeared at his stall. It seemed like he had done well for himself. nearly all of his produce was gone.
"How has the day been Charlie?" He smiled when he saw me. "HEran! The day has been pretty great, I was just thinking of wrapping up for the day. Did you enjoy your exploration?"
I gracefully hopped over his stall and sat on the bench beside him. "The City was wonderful. I made a few friends, did some shopping and joined the Adventurers Guild. I got promoted to copper right away, chased a cat and then browsed around in the Alchemist Guild. I went to the Broken Barrel for a drink and then came back here."
"Sounds like a busy day. I had a couple usuals come by so it was nice to talk to them. Otherwise just a normal day at the market."
"That's good. An uneventful day is always nice. How long were you staying in city for?"
"I will probably stay at an inn tonight and then set up shop in the morning. I am supposed to be home by tomorrow night or my wife will start to worry about me."
"I see, I guess we will have to part ways soon then. I want to do some night hunting in the forest."
"Well then in that case, I best call it a day and let you be on your way." Charlie extended his hand "It was a pleasure to work with you big man."
"You too, I'll get my greens from ya next time I see you in the market."
"Business is always appreciated." He gave me a toothy grin and we packed up his belongings into his bag.
When it was finished he tried to pay me but I declined and gave him back the 5 copper and an extra silver. "Thank you for the job but I've come into far more coin than I know what to do with now. If you don't believe me, stop by the Broken Barrel. The chaos is my doing."
He seemed offended at first, but after I finished he just looked skeptical. "Alright then, but don't come crying back to me later saying I don't pay."
I laughed and patted the man gently on the back, but he was still pushed forward. "No need to be worried about me now. I've got all the resources needed to start my epic adventure."
After our goodbyes I left the stall to find the seamstress I paid earlier. After paying her another 2 silver I headed to find somewhere to get changed. I decided on the Merchants Association since I needed to get some smaller currency anyways. I don't imagine many places will take Platinum.
After 15 minutes I reached the building. It was similar to the Alchemist guild but had a different atmosphere. The Guild would be cold, formal and oppressive whereas the Association was warm, inviting and calculative.
It was more like the real world, they wouldn't kill you but they would make you wish they did after stripping all they can from you. All in all it looked like a nice place. There were light brown carpets and vibrant blue furniture with polished black accents.
I had barely taken 5 steps in the building when a man in a penguin suit with all the bells and whistles approached me with a frown. "What business do you have here?"
He didn't outright say that I didn't belong here but, he definitely did if I read between the lines. "I am here to find a place to change and exchange coins to a smaller denomination."
"What coins would you like to exchange, we do not provide large sums of copper." his frown was deepening and this little penguin took a step closer to me with the intent to intimidate me.
If only he knew that I was just brushing elbows with the manager of the Alchemist guild. I made an evil smile in my heart.
"What makes you think I need copper?!" I said in a louder voice than I had been using. I also took a step forward, we were nearly touching now. If he wants to play this game, I can play it better.
The scrawny penguin raised an eyebrow at my response, It was clearly not what he was expecting. His expression of surprise changed to one of disgust. He was about to retort when another man spoke out.
It was clear that a small confrontation was about to start which would disturb other guests. Of course that couldn't happen in a place such as this so a more senior staff member would come forward.
Another man in a penguin suit approached, only this one had a monocle and was tall. Not as tall as me but a good head taller than the first penguin. "Is there a problem sir?"
Before Penguin 1 could answer I cut in. "I needed a place to change into some clothes I purchased and also exchange some coins into a smaller denomination. This staff member was simply saying that you don't do this here. I was surprised."
Penguin realized the situation and gave a sharp glare to the first penguin. "My apologies for his behavior, we do ask that all people who come in for an exchange provide a form of identification. He should have said this beforehand. A private room to change in will not be an issue."
"Of course, you can't have just anyone coming in here. I hope this will do" I took out the Alchemist Guild Platinum Membership token and tossed it to him. He caught it easily and after looking at it for a few seconds he paused.
His hands started to shake and he shot a look over to penguin 1. If the first look was a small reprimand then this second look was the signing of his execution. He immediately fell into a perfect 90 degree bow with his arms outstretched before him.
I retrieved the token and he stood back up, only now with a completely different demeanor. He walked over to penguin number 1 and backhanded him hard across his face before punching him in the stomach. He then whispered something in his ear before the poor guy ran off the floor.
"I apologize for this unsightly display my lord, please follow me to a dressing room appropriate for someone of your standing."
