Kurapika opened his eyes upon hearing this. His right hand, holding the chain, began to tremble slightly, but it wasn't from fear; it was excitement.
"Yes!" he replied softly.
Germain nodded slightly and stopped when they passed another carriage.
Kurapika continued running forward for a short distance.
Germain glanced at Uvogin, who was chasing him like a predator, and conjured a "Cleaver." With a surge of "Nen," it quickly transformed into a floating "guillotine!"
The guillotine gleamed, its blade lined with countless tiny saw teeth, showing signs of having severed many heads, with small cracks appearing.
Germain, now a master of Nen, could fill his "Three Attribute Nen Tank" much faster than before. Even when he used extra Nen, he still had plenty left.
For him, all his weapons could be conjured and transformed at will.
When Uvogin saw Germain stop, he knew their second round had begun. He laughed and rubbed his hands together in anticipation.
Suddenly, the guillotine dropped, not aimed at Uvogin, but at the space between the two train cars!
With a loud clang, sparks flew as the guillotine cut the hook connecting the two cars!
In an instant, the train was about to split in two! Both Uvogin and Nobunaga were surprised, and a similar thought flashed through their minds:
That bastard, Germain!
One of them jumped from the roof, while the other leaped from inside the car, heading toward the car where Germain was. But in mid-air, they had no support!
Uvogin and Nobunaga had no choice; they had to act fast. When the carriage Germain was in stopped without a locomotive, he could quickly escape into the mountains, widening the distance between them.
If they didn't catch up now, they'd never be able to.
Germain knew they wouldn't give up and would pursue him together.
After the guillotine fell, he conjured a "Threaded Cane."
Then, he reshaped the cane into a "giant spear" using a large amount of Nen.
He aimed the spear at Uvogin, who was in mid-air, and threw it. The giant spear whistled through the air, quickly reaching Uvogin!
"Come on!" Uvogin shouted, slamming his hands together and grabbing the giant spear just in time.
However, the spear's force rubbed his palms raw, causing them to bleed, which surprised him.
Uvogin had already used "Ken" to protect his palms, but the "giant spear" still managed to cause damage!
This made Uvogin realize that Germain's attack could break through his "Nen" defense.
He forcefully stopped the "giant spear" from piercing his head.
However, his body couldn't successfully jump to the opposite car due to the impact of the "giant spear" and instead fell rapidly onto the train tracks!
The back half of the train kept moving forward due to inertia, and it looked like Uvogin was about to get hit by the train and fall off the cliff on the right.
At that moment, the "giant spear" disappeared since it had been too far from Germain for too long.
Then, Nobunaga jumped onto the carriage where Germain was, stabbing his long sword into the bottom of the carriage with a clang.
He quickly turned around, reached out, and grabbed Uvogin's ankle at the critical moment.
"Get up here!"
Nobunaga roared, using his right arm to throw Uvogin, who was as strong as a bear, to the top of the carriage where Germain was, like tossing a heavy barbell.
"Hahahaha... You did a great job, Nobunaga!"
Uvogin didn't mind and smashed his head into the steel roof like a giant beast breaking out of the ground!
He barely had his feet on the car when he threw a punch with both fists, hitting Germain, who was now within reach!
Uvogin didn't have time to prepare for his "Big Bang Impact," so he just used "Ko" on both hands. His attacks were very powerful and can be called "Destruction Fists!"
Germain wasn't worried. A "crow shield" suddenly appeared in front of him, protecting him like a door.
However, Uvogin's "Left and Right Destruction Fists" hit the "Crow Shield" with his left fist, breaking it. Then, his right fist struck again, shattering the "Crow Shield" instantly!
With fierce determination in his eyes, Uvogin charged forward, trying to grab Germain around the waist like a wrestler.
But Germain stepped back, leaving Uvogin empty-handed.
At that moment, the ground beneath Uvogin's feet suddenly broke apart, and a slashing wave shot up with a hissing sound.
He dodged as much as he could, but the edge of the hunter's black robe still got cut when the sword swung by.
His tricorn hat flew into the air, quickly becoming a small black dot as it disappeared into the mountains on the left side of the track.
Germain, with his messy black hair blowing in the wind, looked down into the carriage and saw Nobunaga staring at him, a long sword in hand and his eyes narrowed.
Nobunaga, an "Enhancer" actually has two attack modes. The first is the "Defense Dome" he used earlier, and the second is the "Slashing Wave" he just unleashed.
Both are variations of a skill that can "Cutting Everything Within the Circle," but neither can break the "Vows and Limitations" of a 4-meter radius.
When the "Defense Dome" shifts from a surface to a line, it transforms into a concentrated, ultimate, and sharper "Slashing Wave"!
Nobunaga spat on the floor of the carriage and said coldly, "You dodged it... Uvogin, keep attacking."
"Do I need you to tell me what to do?" Uvogin laughed loudly, stepping closer to Germain. "Nobunaga, it's you who should act steadily, accurately, and ruthlessly!"
"Don't worry. I'll kill him with all my determination."
Nobunaga moved deeper into the carriage, causing Germain to lose sight of him. He could only use "En" to observe him, which was also tiring.
"That's good!"
The second half of the train finally came to a slow stop on the tracks.
The front half of the train had already roared away, disappearing around the mountainside. Only the distant sound of the whistle remained.
Uvogin jumped back onto the roof of the second half of the train and ran toward Germain.
He was expert at using "Ken" and "Ko" among the "Advanced Nen Techniques." Even without the "Big Bang Impact," his physical body was a terrifying weapon.
While retreating, Germain calculated the attack range of Uvogin on the roof and Nobunaga in the carriage, then conjured the "Threaded Cane" once more.
"Is it coming again?" Uvogin asked, advancing instead of retreating, unafraid. "That 'giant spear'? Come on, use your sharpest spear to pierce my hardest shield; let's see who will win!"
However, Germain did not use the "giant spear" transformed from the "Threaded Cane." Instead, he snapped a long whip and swung it toward Uvogin.
In a direct confrontation, Germain didn't have the advantage, so he changed his strategy, relying on flexibility and agility to determine the outcome.
