The temporary sub-world Mike created was based on the inherited memories of the big demon. It was quasi-rank 10—spacious, swift, but fragile. Although quasi-rank 10 is far beyond rank 9, it stands no chance in the presence of an actual rank 10. If Mike entered the endless space with this sub-world and, by chance, encountered a rank 10 entity with hostile intent, he would be completely unable to fight back.
He could only rely on chance. The endless space is vast, and the likelihood of encountering a rank 10 or a higher-ranked entity in time scales below a billion years is extremely low. He could only hope his luck wouldn't be terrible.

With everything prepared, Mike ordered the 'angels' to bring all humans to the designated location. Although most angels were tiny, their strength was immense. Each was nearly as powerful as a demon king, capable of casting legendary spells.
The source of their incredible might was simple: the previous generations of demons were weak because most of them had highly conflicting bloodlines. With ample time, Mike slowly purified the blood of this generation of demons, harmonizing them for maximum efficiency. Now, all demos, or what humans call angels, possess pure bloodlines with no conflicts. It wasn't difficult for Mike to do this; after all, all the demonic bloodlines were originally fragments of himself. This time, he voluntarily shattered himself, allowing him to retain much more control over them.
...
The angels swiftly rendered their 'owners unconscious and transported them to the designated location. They didn't waste precious magic energy on casting spells; a precise blow to the head was sufficient. One by one, the angles tossed their 'owners' into the sub-world. The entire human population was placed in the sub-world in less than a day.
"Let's take a few animal species, too," Mike thought. Humans were the only intelligent species in the world, but Mike also wanted to carry a few other species. In any case, there was space left in the semi-world, and the cost of carrying them was negligible; there was no reason not to do it.
The angels gathered different animal species, trees, and other living beings. They took a few of each species, ensuring they collected both sexes to preserve the possibility of future reproduction.
The overwhelming majority of non-human living beings had long since died, but some had managed to survive. Additionally, the angels specifically protected a few wild habitats. With billions of angels, all capable of casting spells, this task was also completed before the end of the day.
After everything was done, Mike cast a spell, and the sub-world disappeared.
"Time to swallow the world's remaining energy," Mike sighed. There shouldn't be much left, but even a small amount of energy was still valuable.
"Unification!" Mike sat down in a meditation posture and cast his spell.
The angels shone with green light and began to dissolve, releasing a dark, corrosive gas that flowed toward Mike. Some of the angels wore horrified expressions, while others were angry, but no matter their feelings, they were under Mike's complete control and could only stand and be absorbed by him.
After a few hours, all the angels had been consumed. What remained was the massive body of a humanoid—the big demon had reappeared.
"The will of heaven is dead," Mike, now in his big demon body, quickly concluded. In this form, his senses were much sharper.
"The will of the world destroyed itself trying to fight me! What a waste; a lot of energy was lost to the endless space!" Mike shook his head in pity. His energy reserves were down to 30%; the extra energy from the world would have helped him immensely.
"Anyway, I hope the remainder can at least fill me up to 50%," he thought. When he first came to this world, his energy was at a full 100%, but after being killed repeatedly, his energy naturally decreased significantly. The battle with the will of heaven also depleted him greatly. After being shattered many times, his resistance to the oppressive force of the world increased, and he managed to resist it entirely, but all of this cost a lot of energy.
"Swallowing the world," Mike cast; he had known about this spell for some time but didn't use it because he didn't want to kill everyone. Now that the world was empty, he didn't care anymore. He recently recalled the situation in the endless space. A few months ago, he believed the endless space was filled with chaotic energy, so he never considered creating a sub-world with weak defenses.
The world shook, the ground cracked, and the sky, already dark with no sun or moon, shattered. It was the scene of an apocalypse. Although most of the 'meat' was already gone, there were still a lot of 'bones' left. Additionally, the world's code was made of energy, which could add up to a significant amount. The ground slowly evaporated, and pure, transparent energy stemming from it slowly entered Mike's giant body.
…
Swallowing a world, even one so nearly abandoned and dysfunctional, takes a lot of time. It took 1,000 years before Mike finally reached the final stage—the complete law.
Each world has at least a complete law, and this one was no exception. Mike had no way of fully absorbing a complete law; he was only a quasi-rank 10 and far from being able to manipulate such a thing.
"Maybe some skilled sorcerers could take this complete law and create a new world; unfortunately, I cannot do such a thing. I have to slowly release it into the endless space, hoping I won't be hurt in the process," Mike thought.
He would have loved to directly take control of the complete law and reach rank 10, but it wasn't possible. Maybe if the world were at full energy, he could have gained enough to control the complete law forcefully, but now, with the pitiful amount of energy he gained d after swallowing most of the world, it was far from enough.
Using the memories of the big demon, he carefully discharged the complete law and released it into the endless space while absorbing the remnants of the world.
…
After finishing with the world, Mike summoned the semi-world, went into it, and began directing it toward the brightest light in the endless space.
The endless space used to be much emptier, but it has become a bit more crowded in the last few hundred trillion years. Still, even now, it takes, at the very least, thousands of years to travel from one world to another.
"It seems I am in a crowded area; it shouldn't take more than a few thousand years," Mike thought.
…
Twenty thousand years later.
Mike was wrong! The bright light he had directed the semi-world toward initially appeared close, but it was far away. Even after twenty thousand years, Mike hadn't gotten any closer to it.
To protect himself from potential insanity from absolute boredom, he deleted his daily memories and only kept essential events. He didn't want to make a habit of deleting memories, as that could be dangerous. Still, nothing was noteworthy in his recent memories—just the dim, endless space, sparsely populated by some bright spots.
…
A hundred thousand years later.
Mike slept most of the time. A few thousand years ago, he created an AI that could guide the semi-world and record anything noteworthy. It no longer needed his attention to function; as long as he provided energy, everything would be fine.
…
One million years later.
About 100,000 years ago, Mike gave up on the bright, shining world; it was too far away. Instead, he changed his direction toward another shining light in the sky. It shone with pink light and at least appeared to be much closer.
"We're close," Mike thought. When he first started his journey, he expected to reach another world in a few thousand years, but he was so wrong. Or maybe his speed was too low; after all, his sub-world was only quasi-rank 10.
…
One million years later.
Mike looked at the massive shining ball in front of him. It radiated a pink light—extremely eye-catching and mesmerizing.
"Here we go, to the new world!" Mike smiled.

Lana yawned and looked at the scene outside her world.
"Hm… a transmigrator?" Rachel had recently discontinued the Dream World project and started solely focusing on transmigrators. All the worlds were ordered to set up transmigration systems and comply with all the regulations.
As a demon, Lana quite enjoyed playing with transmigrators. Those poor souls came to her world, thinking they would become protagonists who rule the world, only to be played with and devoured by her.
Rachel recently ordered her to at least keep a few transmigrators alive.
"Let's see how it goes," Lana mused, snapping her fingers.
She had usually been able to keep herself busy, but lately, she had been growing tired of her usual games. Perhaps this new distraction would bring her some amusement.
