Chapter 384 - You Are Everything to Me

Lana used to keep herself busy playing various games, but nowadays, things have gone a bit stale.

With a snap of her fingers, she shrank a semi-world nearly a thousand kilometers long and wide down to the size of a small square. "Okay, let's take a look," she thought, smiling as she gazed at the tiny semi-world on the table.

Lana was a Rank 13 being with over 200 universal laws. Destroying a Rank 12 world required little effort for her; a semi-world posed no challenge.

A humanoid figure cautiously emerged from the semi-world, eyeing her with curiosity. Though he tried to conceal it, Lana quickly noticed the well-hidden horror in his eyes.

"You're quite large, aren't you?" she remarked with a smile. Despite shrinking the semi-world and everything inside it countless times, the humanoid was still about the size of her palm; his original size was obviously much larger than an average human.

The tiny giant bowed and spoke, "Your Honor, please have mercy!"

Lana thought for a moment and nodded. "You may not know me, but rest assured, I am famous for my generosity. I would never harm weaklings like you!" She patted her chest and spoke in a righteous tone.

In reality, she was infamous for the exact opposite. Everyone Rank 12 and higher knew of her dirty habits, which included torturing poor mortals, deceiving them, killing them for fun, and indulging in other perverse 'games.'

"Thank you," the tiny giant bowed again, unaware of Lana's true nature.

"What are you doing here? Why are there so many humans in there?" Lana pointed at the semi-world and asked. Of course, she could have easily read the tiny giant's mind, but where was the fun in that? In her view, using force to accomplish everything would ruin the experience, rendering them dull. While most immortals became emotionless as they grew in strength, Lana's emotions only became more twisted.

"Our last world was destroyed. I created this semi-world for them. We were searching for a suitable world when we encountered your world, Your Honor," he said respectfully.

"Oh, so you're a hero!" Lana looked at the tiny giant with wide eyes, pretending to be extremely impressed.

"No, I just did what I had to," the tiny giant responded humbly.

"Not at all; you deserve all the praise in the world! You saved billions of people! That's truly impressive!" Lana continued to shower the giant with praise.

"It's an honor to be praised by you!" the tiny giant bowed again.

"Here, let me help you out; you all must be tired after all that traveling!" Lana smiled and grabbed the semi-world.

"No! It's fragile!" the giant shouted, but it was too late. The semi-world shattered in Lana's hand, and billions of tiny humans spilled onto the table. Most of them hit the ground and died, leaving only a slight red stain.

"What? How could you travel in such a brittle box? It broke with just one touch! I'm really sorry!" Lana's expression turned extremely sad.

"Can Your Honor save the remainder? I'm sure many survived the fall!" the tiny giant noticed millions of struggling tiny humans; unfortunately, he couldn't help them, as his magic power was completely sealed.

"Of course!" Lana nodded and snapped her fingers. Over a billion surviving tiny humans floated up. She took a small piece of paper and carefully placed the levitating humans on it.

"Here you go!" Lana smiled as she handed the piece of paper to the giant.

"Thank you, Your Honor!" he bowed deeply.

"No problem! Saving people has always been my specialty!" Lana said proudly.

The giant smiled and nodded.

"What's your name?" Lana asked.

"I am called Mike. It has been truly an honor to meet such a mighty being as you. We are fortunate to have you as our sponsor!" Mike said and bowed again.

"Of course! With my help, you can live in peace and prosperity!" She snapped her fingers.

The scene abruptly shifted from a room to the sky above a vast forest.

"This is called Green Heaven. It's famous for its amazing environment, safety, and delicious fruits. You can live here in peace!" She said with a bright, sunny smile.

"Thank you!" Mike bowed once more.

"Let's go down," she said, snapping her fingers, and a few of the tiny mortals returned to their normal sizes.

They looked at the ground beneath their feet and wanted to scream but held their breath, knowing that a misstep in front of this terrifying woman could mean death; when they were tiny, for some reason, heard and saw everything clearly.

"You five will be the representatives of your group of tiny mortals," she waved her hand, and they all landed on the ground.

"AAAAAAAaaa!" one of the men screamed.

"What's wrong?" asked an elderly man with a white beard. But as soon as he looked closely, he saw the cause.

A large flower, beautiful at first glance, revealed itself to be covered in teeth and claws. The unfortunate man had stepped on it, and it had bitten him.

"Don't worry about it; this is called a Furry Teeth Flower. It's completely harmless," Lana explained.

"AaaaAaAA! My leg! It's chewing my leg!" The man's screams were so horrendous that the other four mortals nearly had a stroke. It was especially terrifying considering that hundreds of Furry Teeth Flowers surrounded them, all fluttering innocently in the wind.

"Your Honor, these mortals are not worthy of your attention. If you permit, I can lead them myself," Mike suggested, trying to persuade Lana to remove the seal on his magic power.

"How could I? You're the hero! I would never leave you alone!" Lana said firmly.

"Please help me! AAAAAAAA!" The man was suffering from severe blood loss; his leg was nearly severed. None of the other four mortals dared to approach. In such an environment, few would dare to actually risk their lives to help someone they barely knew.

"Don't worry; as I said, the flower is completely harmless," Lana reiterated in an unquestionable tone.

By now, everyone had realized that Lana had no good intentions.

"Your Honor, may I help that poor man?" Mike pointed at the screaming man and asked.

"Of course! Why ask for permission?" Lana stepped aside.

Mike hurried over and tied a tourniquet around the poor man's leg to stop the bleeding.

"Mike, you are such a kind giant! I never imagined I would meet such a manly man like you!" Lana said, stars in her eyes.

"I'm not as good a person as you think, Your Honor," Mike refuted.

"Yes, you are! You're helping a poor mortal! Not only did you save them from your last world, but you're also taking care of them here! Mike, it's not your duty to carry all the weight; let me share the burden with you," Lana said in a firm tone.

"Your Honor, please don't!" Mike stood up and begged, but it was too late. The man with the bitten leg and the other four mortals all exploded.

"Nooo! My spell went wrong! I wanted to give them super strength so they could live independently; I didn't expect their fragile bodies couldn't handle the power!" Lana started to weep.

"Your Honor…" Mike trailed off, unsure of what to say.

"Mike, I just killed five innocent people! I need your emotional support. You saved so many; why don't you save me?" Lana looked at Mike with wet, pitiful eyes.

Mike was secretly terrified; the woman in front of him was insane. She had just killed billions of people, and now she was crying over killing five. She was extremely powerful, with no emotional stability. One wrong word could mean his death.

"Lana, don't worry. You didn't do it on purpose," Mike tried his best to console the deranged woman in front of him.

"But it was on purpose! I killed them on purpose because I was envious of them; you were kind to them while you didn't care about me!" Lana admitted.

Mike quickly responded, "It wasn't your fault; it was my fault."

"Yeah, it is your fault!" Lana snapped, glaring at Mike with angry eyes.

Mike felt as if the world's weight had just been placed on his shoulders. He spoke with difficulty, "No, it wasn't my fault; it was those mortals' fault. They plotted to get my pity, causing me to neglect you!"

"You mean the man just now plotted to get his leg bitten by that flower just to attract your pity and attention?" Lana suddenly realized.

"Absolutely! It was all part of his plan!" Mike nodded frantically.

The crushing weight on his shoulders lifted.

"Then, let's take revenge! Kill them all to prove your point!" Lana snapped her fingers.

Around a billion humans suddenly appeared in the sky, completely covering it.

"How can I prove it?" Mike asked.

"Kill them all; I've removed your seal. If you really love me, kill them!" she demanded, tears streaming down her face.

"Lana…" Mike looked at the people he had spent millions of years protecting, feeling a deep hatred brewing within him. The crazed woman was so powerful that he had no way to resist, but that didn't mean he wasn't angry.

Slowly, he cast a legendary fireball spell and shot it toward the billion people. The spell hit and, with a massive explosion, killed them all instantly.

"Wow, Mike, you really chose me!" Lana laughed, visibly overjoyed.

Nearly overwhelmed with anger and hatred, Mike barely contained himself and forced a smile, "Of course, you are everything to me."
