It was a sunny afternoon in New York City; the sun had set to its pitch, burning through the skin like the heat of an oven.
Meanwhile, the two couples were just coming out of LaGuardia airport with their luggage.
Normally, they were supposed to be returning the following week, but due to the news that Cynthia had been stabbed by her inmates, they had to come back the following day after hearing the news.
As they were walking out of the airport, they sighted Joe, one of Jerry's security guards, waving at them.
Jerry had called him to come and fetch them once they arrived at the airport.
"Good afternoon, sir. How was your trip?" Joe asked Jerry while collecting his luggage from him.
"It was fine, and how have things been recently?" Jerry asked him while helping the others arrange their luggage in the boot of the car.
