"Thank you for defending me against your friends earlier; I really appreciate it," Daniel said to Diaz, who was just returning from escorting his friends to the gate.
"Don't mention it, my friend, and for your information, those people aren't my friends; they are only sticking to me because things are going well for me," Diaz said to Daniel while sitting down on the brown couch that was in the sitting room.
"If ever things go the other way around for me, they are all going to vanish in the air like smoke," Diaz said to Daniel while switching on the TV. "In this business of ours, if you want to last longer in it, you must learn how to be careful with friends like them," Diaz said to Daniel.
"I'm fully aware of that, Diaz, and that's why I don't have friends," Daniel said to Diaz while sitting down on the couch opposite Diaz.
