Freya Morrison bit her lip.
She stared at Eve Thompson and suddenly sat opposite Eve, speaking up directly, "After going abroad, I realized that Professor Hero was interested in Carlos Charlie, who won first place at the Martial Arts Competition, not in either Oliver Charles or me. I immediately rejected Hero's invitation and came back."
This was within Eve's expectations.
She nodded, "And then what?"
Freya looked down, speaking again, "Then, I came back to intern. Eve, I've broken up with Oliver Charles now. We were classmates, friends, and it's awkward since we see each other all the time. So could you please not tell Oliver Charles that I'm here?"
Eve Thompson frowned, "Freya, did something happen at home?"
Freya paused.
She gave a bitter smile, "Eve, don't ask, I don't want to talk about it."
After saying that, she stood up and took off the apron, "I've been working all day, I'm really tired, I need to go home now."
