Freya Morrison's body stiffened.
The next moment, she covered her own face and started walking back, "I'm sorry, you have the wrong person..."
Unfortunately, before she could take two steps, her arm was abruptly caught by Eve Thompson.
Immediately, her entire body was twisted around by Eve.
Eve forcefully pulled down Freya's arm, making direct contact with her red, swollen eyes. She was biting her lip, seemingly in distress.
Eve frowned and asked, "Freya, what are you doing here?"
Freya's gaze flickered, and she swallowed before responding, "I, I just finished my overseas defense and got admitted. Then I came back to prepare and, having nothing else to do, came here to work and earn some money."
Eve continued to look at her, "Is that so?"
Freya dared not meet her gaze and nodded.
Eve was about to say something when someone shouted from the side, "Freya, bring two bottles of beer to table 23!"
Freya immediately responded with a crisp, "Okay!"
