Reginald Bates was about to speak when Iris Thompson suddenly opened her mouth, "Let me continue."
After speaking, she sat up straight.
Reginald Bates was startled and looked at her in confusion, only to see that she had shaken off her earlier downheartedness, and both her eyes had lit up.
Then, she picked up a white stone and without hesitation, placed it on the board.
That spot was obviously about to be encircled by black stones, and playing there was akin to seeking death.
Roland started to laugh, picked up a stone, and while placing it on the board said, "Sister-in-law's skill still needs more practice. Playing Go tests one's patience and thought. One must think three steps ahead for every move... Consider more carefully..."
His arrogant demeanor was quite irritating.
Iris Thompson smiled gently, nodding her head, "There's no need for your concern. Continue."
Roland played the stone, about to capture her black stone.
A smile appeared on her face.
