Eve Thompson reached the floor of the inpatient department, and just as she arrived at the door of the ward, she heard voices coming from inside.
"Sister-in-law, I am Reginald Bates's cousin, Gina Roberts. You can just call me Gina. This is my sister, Roland Roberts."
It was a delicate and beautiful voice, and while speaking, it wasn't very confident. The tone carried a hint of coquetry, but the words spoken were rather uncomfortable, "The two of us, we grew up with cousin Reginald. My sister and cousin Reginald were a match made in heaven as children. We used to play house together, always having them act as the parents while I played their child, haha! Even the elders in our family would joke that when my sister grew up, she might as well just be with cousin Reginald!"
The words carried an air of superiority, tinged with arrogance.
Another voice, dignified and elegant, interrupted her, "Gina, don't talk nonsense, those are all childhood stories."
