Looking at what?
Mark Talbot was still in shock. He knew the system was done for.
But when he turned his head, he saw on a colleague's computer that the entire police station's network system was intact, without any damage...
He was slightly stunned, only to see another line of text appear on his computer: "I just want to keep her company, my mom is too tired."
For some reason, Mark Talbot, a grown man, felt moved deep inside upon reading these words.
He tensed his jaw, his determined face showing calmness, and looked towards the internal security camera of the police station. Suddenly, he spoke to it, "Are you hacking into our system as a way to threaten us?"
It indeed heard him.
Because the computer screen displayed a new message: "Uncle, you misunderstand, I just want to talk with you."
Mark Talbot narrowed his eyes.
Although he didn't sense any hostility from this message,
as a policeman, he couldn't just act on his intuition.
