After entering, Ava White rushed straight to the hospital bed.
She saw Jonas Thompson lying there, his body stiff, faced up.
He lay too rigidly, just like a corpse in the morgue...
This thought made Ava White stand two meters away from Jonas Thompson, hesitating and fearful, "Is he still alive?"
It looked as if he had already died!
As soon as she spoke, the person on the bed suddenly opened his eyes, startling Ava White into screaming, "Ahh ahh ahh! A ghost!"
She pushed the wheelchair backward, but before she could get away, it was steadied by Eve Thompson.
Then, she was pushed forward.
Ava White screamed in fright, "What are you doing? Let me go!"
Eve Thompson didn't speak but just pushed Ava White straight to the bed, facing Jonas Thompson's angry and out-of-control gaze. She smiled cheerfully, "Mr. White, you were so eager to see my dad, weren't you? Now he's right here, why are you running away?"
