Eve Thompson walked to the entrance of the inpatient department, then stopped. She turned around and went back to the floor where Adrienne Dixon was hospitalized.
Upon reaching the floor, she immediately saw two bodyguards eyeing her vigilantly.
Eve Thompson flashed a smile, "The patient's parents were just talking to the doctor and left their ring behind. I came to look for it."
The two bodyguards looked at each other, stepped aside, but followed behind Eve Thompson.
Eve Thompson knew she definitely couldn't barge in with someone tailing her like this.
She squatted slightly, searched the ground, and soon casually picked up her own ring, stood up, and exclaimed, "Found it!"
Then, she showed it to the two bodyguards.
The bodyguards nodded, "Please leave immediately now."
Eve Thompson nodded.
She walked towards the exit, took a few steps, and pressed the Carlos Charlie in her pocket, "Ready?"
Carlos's gentle voice responded immediately, "Ready!"
"Begin!"
